Way off. Buckeyes have been good every decade. The 80s were their down decade with several 9-3 seasons. Overall, they have been one of the most consistent.

The only answer is MICHIGAN.

Nope, Michigan

This is the correct answer. For decades their goal was to just win the B10 and go get their heads caved in by USA in The Rose Bowl

Literally a missed FG from winning last year

This isn’t true. That was a semifinal game.

A few bounces and Mizzou could have 2 title game appearances right now. See how far that argument gets you on here I mean that's very different than winning titles, but go for it

The two mentioned for OSU would’ve resulted in title game appearances, not necessarily titles. It isn’t any different.

Let's be honest, either one of those teams was beating TCU by a substantial margin. TCU was lucky to even be in the game as they needed two pick sixes and three turnovers in the red zone to beat Michigan.

TCU beat Michigan. OSU doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt here.

Sadly, it's probably Georgia.

If not Georgia, then Texas.

Buckeye 06, I have a question for you. I look around sometimes on big ten boards. Something I have noticed is a lot of vitriol directed toward the SEC, especially Ohio Staters. We have very few regular season games between the two conferences. It is as though if a person says anything about the SEC( they paint with a broad brush) that is not caustic or hateful then they have to qualify it by saying - I hate the SEC as much as anyone does.

I know you don't speak for anyone other than yourself but do you have any comments regarding what I have said?

You wanna know who also has at least 3 national titles since 1970? LSU, UGA, Florida, Alabama.

One of these is not like the others:

LSU, UGA, UF have 3 each since 1970.

Alabama has 10.

If Alabama had the 28 victories the ncaa stole from Alabama would be first in both those.

But I agree Ohio State is a good program, for a Big Ten team

Sadly, I can think of a couple teams in Texas who are better at underachieving than OSU.

Less talented of the two but good enough to beat OSU in rivalry games sometimes but fall flat in the playoffs.

They weren't that much more talented than TCU but still lost.

They got blitzed by a somewhat serious Georgia team.

They are like Notre Dame, not as good as the media portrays them to be.

Everyone knows now that game last season was an illusion. Even my Buckeye friends admitted your Oline got away with about a dozen holding calls in that game that didn't get called. You didn't REALLY think the Suckeyes were that good, did you? Face it, OSU is overrated and doesn't even deserve to be in the same conversation as UGA, Bama and the SEC elite. Heck, you don't deserve to be in the same conversation as Michigan and even Penn St this season. Michigan has turned them into their red-headed step child.

You should have just posted this and left everything else out. It would have made more sense.

Why yes, yes they are. And before you start, Ole Miss isn’t supposed to do anything. And we don’t. In fact, it’s a miracle we do as well as we do. But Ohio State. They do so little with so much.

I think it's Texas.

Texas had zero players drafted in 2022.

They do so little because they have so little to work with.
