Yes, I would say so. Don't mind a bit, and very happy for the Hawgs! My 2nd favorite school!

Between 2006-2011 , a 5 year run, we won 10+ games 3 out of the 5 years, and won 9 in the off year...

2008, 5-7
2009, 8-5
2010, 10-3
2011, 11-2

Then you have to go all the way back to 1989 for a 10 win season.

Arkansas does have a great athletic tradition and happy for you guys. It would have been nice to see how far Bobby could have taken football, damn motor cycle derailed football. Razorback fans are some of the best in the SEC and good luck to you guys in Omaha.

National team titles claimed by current SEC institutions
The fourteen members of the Southeastern Conference claim over 200 national team championships in sports currently or formerly sponsored by conference members. The following totals include national team championships sponsored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) from 1906 to the present, the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) from 1972 to 1982, and, in football, the Bowl Alliance, Bowl Coalition, Bowl Championship Series (BCS) and College Football Playoff (CFP) since 1992, as well as consensus national championships determined by the major football polls prior to 1992.

Arkansas - 48
LSU - 47
Florida – 38
Georgia – 32
Alabama – 28
Tennessee – 22
Auburn – 18
Texas A&M – 16
Kentucky – 14
Vanderbilt – 5
South Carolina – 4
Mississippi – 3
Missouri – 2
Mississippi State – 0

Honestly I would put the O/U at 8.5 years

This is actually a damn good O/U.

My bias wants me to take the under at 4-5 years, but 10 games implies 4 non-conconference wins, 5-3 in the SEC, and a bowl win.

Definitely possible, but we suck in bowls historically.

Arkansas football won't win 10-11 games but they easily had the best year in all sports combined.

They've just had a bad run of coaches. Pittman will do a good job building things the right way.

We had a terrible AD through all of that who didn't see winning as a priority, made the comment himself. We finally gutted his arse out of the state and things have been turning around ever since.

The SEC is 85% football, 10% basketball, 4% baseball and then a total of 1% all those other sports. Which by your calculations puts you near last in the league...great in that 15% area though.

Seems a tad arbitrary...I’d like to see your calculations on this. Preferably total attendance and or total revenue.

How long before football catches up and starts winning 10-11 games again?

Again?

The Hogs have done this only three times since joining the SEC. No reason to think this will change going forward.

SEC has changed a whole lot since Ark's salad days. Don't expect to compete against the big boys again.

How many teams have BOTH Titles though? Only a couple SEC teams...
And we SHOULD have a baseball title, too. We'll take care of that this year. Then we'd almost stand alone. Only 4 teams have ever done that and Florida is the only SEC team to do it.
IF Arkansas can get that Baseball Natty they'd be THE only school with

NCAA recognizes Arkansas and Bama as 64 champion.

Deal with it LSU boy.

NCAA also only recognizes OM with 1 NC and not 3 so I find it hilarious they try and claim 3.
