Should not be on the list
great talent but he served his time and should be in the NFL or have a job
College football needs a huge overhaul and never will get it
One day soon a kid will get his 7th season to prove himself

The great tight ends are valuable for sure, but a mediocre player on the field just to put a tight end may not be better
For arguments sake spreading the field with 4 or 5 receivers can open up the running game getting defensive players out of the tight box
Great Tight Ends are super hard to find
Tony Gonzalez
Rob Gronkowski
Shannon Sharpe
Travis Kelce
Winslow

Remember the drama of losing Speedy Noil and a year later the kid tanks his career.
This kid had all the talent but never got to show it after high school

Hopefully? What is wrong with you? Wasn’t LSU awful before her? I really don’t get some of the hate around here.
Not so sure there is hate of Kim M.
More spending 3 million dollars too much on a coach and losing 7.9 million a year on a sport but the actual loss would be more if Kim were not coaching at LSU.
This is more a title 9 thing and if you're going to invest in title 9 then Kim is an excellent choice and has proven she can win championships with talent LINK
read the link and look at the spending on Mulkey in a different way

Weird post and quickly pulled this up

Texas: Usually claims the #1 spot for active players in a given season, consistently placing around 190 to 200+ players on opening weekend rosters.Florida: A massive producer of pro talent. Over the last decade, Florida has actually topped the list for the most NFL draft picks overall.California: Ranks among the very top for both active players and historical NFL
quote:
There is a strong correlation between who the coach is and success. Spurrier and Meyer obviously had success.
I think you are correct, coaches get and keep the good players from their states. The 3 states that lead in # of players Florida-Texas and California are not dominating college football and all 3 are large states
California: ~39.4 millionTexas: ~31.7 millionFlorida: ~23.5 millionNew York: ~20.0 millionPennsylvania: ~13.1 millionIllinois: ~12.7 millionOhio: ~11.9 millionGeorgia: ~11.3 millionNorth Carolina: ~11.2 millionMichigan: ~10.1 million
Florida is a top producer of NFL talent and possibly split between 3 big named schools being Miami-Florida-Florida St,
Florida schools should be winning more football championships but Texas and California are not winning either
So you statement about population and success is correct

Any SEC School Had a More Disappointing total of championships??
Well take consolation that Alabama is 9th in championships and not 14th
We all do give you tide credit for football championships and lower half of middle of the pack is better for total championships than the Mississippi Schools and Missouri
My advice is not to worry about LSU so much, you have 7 others plus two others you are chasing, Texas -Oklahoma also once the SEC totally accepts them and their championships won outside the SEC Conference.
Then bama will be in the bottom of the pack with the two mississippi schools and Missouri. We all give you credit for your football championships led by the LSU groomed head coach

2. LSU - 45
3. Florida - 40
4. Georgia - 31

10. Vanderbilt - 6
11. South Carolina - 5
12. Missouri - 2
12. Ole Miss - 2

Super surprised that Alabama is 9th on the list, thank goodness for Saban the coach that was groomed by LSU

Baseball
After this quit losing so much money
NIL started as booster money, if the boosters want to throw money at a sport, then let them.
As of July 1, 2025, following the House v. NCAA settlement, schools can now directly share revenue with athletes. This is a new layer of compensation separate from traditional third-party NIL deals, funded by athletic department revenue streams such as ticket sales and media rights
If a sport has a revenue stream, then let them keep it. Football is profitable as is Men's basketball.
Baseball is basically self-sufficient and after that they all lose money.

Or did he enjoy an advantage because of a playoff system not available to Bea
Saban may very well be the better coach, two different times
Saban had to deal with recruiting limits of 25
Bear loaded up recruiting classes when recruiting limits were almost unlimited, teams could sign as many players that they could afford scholarships.
He would gobble up players other SEC schools could have gotten
Both are legends and really should not be compared
I do agree that a playoff system would have brought more National Titles to Alabama for Bear's teams

the stadium security should have a little more grace. But that's expecting a lot from a guy who isn't paid to think, only to do what his boss,
When it comes to security, police, teachers and people in charge the correct behavior is to follow their directions without argument
This is how people get shot and fights breakout etc
Sure, they get it wrong on occasion but most of the time following orders is the way to behave
The guy arguing is wrong not the security guard

Jay seems to have lost trust in his decision making and relies solely on analytics over his own eye.
Coach is responsible for getting the good Jimmy and Joe's on the field, most of us could have taken that 2023 squad to Omaha. Most of us could have taken those Alabama teams Saban built and won championships.
I also question some of his decisions but my opinion this season was simply lack of elite players.

Out of the major sports, baseball is the one that is (imo) more mental than physical
Totally understand your post, physical can be interchanged with athleticism and baseball may require more hand eye coordination than the other sports.
Mental toughness can develop hand eye coordination and highly improve baseball development the way I look this

This is 100% correct, LSU helped turn college baseball around. Also back in the 90's LSU was juicing and steroids were rampant. Not saying Skip was behind this but surely, he knew.

Horrible take, totally not true and expectations for LSU Baseball are always high, reality it is impossible this age of transfers and NIL to dominate every year.
Pitching and hitting this season are not up to LSU standards

Popular conspiracy theories often center on government secrecy, major historical events, and technological fear, including beliefs that the 1969 Moon landing was faked, 9/11 was an inside job, and COVID-19 was intentionally released. Other enduring theories involve Area 51 hosting aliens, the Flat Earth theory, and various assassination plots.
COVID-19 & 5G: Claims that the pandemic was manufactured, caused by 5G signals, or used to track populations.
Elite Control/Secret Societies: The idea that global elites (like the Illuminati or WEF) are creating a "New World Order" to control humanity.
The Mandela Effect/Simulation: Proposes that memories of past events have been altered by CERN's Large Hadron Collider or that we live in a simulated reality.
Famous Deaths & Replacements: Theories alleging that celebrities like Elvis Presley faked their deaths or that Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by a lookalike.
Historical "Inside Jobs": Beliefs that the U.S. government knew about Pearl Harbor beforehand, or that the JFK assassination was a CIA operation.
Reptilian Elite:
The belief that shape-shifting reptilian creatures have infiltrated government and media, often linked to ancient astronaut theories.
Antisemitism/Holocaust Denial:
Persistent, harmful theories that fabricate conspiracies about Jewish people controlling media or finance, including denying the Holocaust.
While often dismissed, some conspiracies have been proven true, such as the government withholding medical treatment in the Tuskegee study and the CIA’s MKUltra mind-control project.
