Iowa State is broke. They've got around a $150MM funding gap. Campbell took a pay cut a few years back to give money to his staff.

I'm sure he's ready to go somewhere that he doesn't have to worry about funding anymore.

I don't know. Speaking as an old fart, sure feels like our best teams had a lot of Arkansas kids on them. They will care more than the mercenaries.

I think it's fair to be impressed with RS's speed in getting these commits while also working the media, meeting the team, etc. He hasn't stopped for a cole beer.

Funny you mention that. I'm actually thinking about going to watch some other in-state teams like UCA, Ark-Tech, Henderson State, OBU, etc.

It has to be more fun than this. In fact, I enjoy watching the high school games a lot. It's not about anything other than playing football. The kids go all out.

Razorback football is a giant turd.

And just like that, my fall schedule in 2026 just opened up.

I doubt that. If Golesh wanted the job then he would have accepted it.

Two things here.

1) We all need to accept that the Arkansas job is considered to be straight arse or

No. If Hunter can't land some of the names we've already mentioned then he has to either offer it to Bobby or go lock up Gruden. Neither hire would fool anyone as they could have been locked up weeks ago, but both would be a big splash(and most likely a spectacular failure), but at least we would get some positive attention for a little while.
