My understanding is that State has some special dispensation from the SEC that no one else had.

I don't know if it would be a penalty but it would be funny as hell seeing them bowtie wearing goofs with a cowbell in their dainty hands.

Not if the ringing stops once the center puts his hand on the ball. Same as our place. Sort of like the band was supposed to do that Lane complained about and caused the loss when they were in Oxford.

For what its worth...
We (Mizzou) had an opportunity to win. Several times we drove the ball downfield, and because of odd play calling and good defensive stops by State, we couldn't hang on and win. We knew it would be loud, but good teams overcome obstacles like that.
Let them ring the bell if they want; good teams will overcome it. .

Absolutely state should have to adhear to every ones rules or let the rest of the conference use cowbells if they want to. Shouldn't give state special privileges just because historically they have been a bell average team.
