Every team thinks the refs are against them. The only one I think was perennially biased, Tom Ritter, retired several years ago. And replay does help neutralize some bias and mistakes on non-judgement calls.

The only thing that would seem to make sense about the approach, the SEC is taken is that they don’t really want the safe college sports act to be voted into law. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be going right at LSU, knowing that the speaker of the house, the majority leader, and a powerful guy like John Kennedy we’re gonna have a good reason not to want to help you.
Certainly, there is an argument to do things altruistically. But the reality is that people tend to do business with people they like. And the SEC is not making any friends with the Louisiana congressional delegation by picking this fight.

The SEC went way too hard…
If I were on the dark side with Sankey, I be worried about these two things if I vote to expel:
1) Damage to the SEC brand from what will be a huge lawsuit coming back at you from LSU and possibly the schools who vote no. The conference is going to lose money, prestige, you name it
2) Unintended consequences...what will happen if you cross that bridge cause you're not going to come back. And if you think you got it all figured out...you don't
This is a way over the top response and already the conference is going to suffer some consequences for being so heavy handed.

Everyone has their opinion and the right to express it in our country. Its better to be able to say things than to be shooting at each other and other bad stuff. Whatever he wants to say is fine with me.

All you guys having fun at LSU’s expense… just be careful. Because when that bright light gets on you, and it will, it’s not going to be good. Especially y’all who are really doing some things you shouldn’t be doing (Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia, Texas)

We haven’t done anything…only talked about doing something. What could we get expelled for? Seems like a big reach (with Georgia, Ole Miss & Texas behind it all)
