This is true. Also what they’re spooled with. I end up having to replace my braid due to wind knots vs having to change it out due to wear. I used to change mono 2-4x a year....

It is common for the Capt and Deckhand to hand feed the line out when you’re chunking. Most of the time they show you what to do and let you take it over.

Creole creamery is the best option.
If you wanted a romantic dessert Angelo Broccatos is great. Don’t think they have milk shakes though...
