Yes launch can be very crowded at peak launch times. They generally have lines which someone for the marina will be directing traffic. It does move in pretty well ordered fashion though. Plan for at least 30min for launch.

How good was it 20 yrs ago? How good will it be 20yrs from now? Lack of foresight and morals will see our fisheries collapse. Noticeable decline already. Havent found many keepers east of MRGO inside the marsh the past few weekends but plenty bait around. Have seen plenty of boats heading out through the canals to Lake Ameda. Could all be different this weekend with the front that came through. Give us an update after you fish.
