I hear that 1up makes the best rack. I've had many years use from various Kuat racks but they eventually have issues. If you value your bikes paint at all spend the money to get a rack that holds the bike by the tires and doesn't clamp on the top tube because it will eventually rub the paint off.

Killed a couple of snakes at arms length with a NAA pocket 22mag and shotshells.
Better than I thought it would be.

Are BPC-157 pills effective?

Posted by PCHSDawg on 12/22/24 at 12:14 pm
I am sold on peptides but want to treat three separate tendon issues at once and wonder if anyone has taken BPC-157 pills and if they work. I know the shots are probably quicker but would only do one area at a time that way, was thinking to get them all at once with the pills. If you have, any recommendations for a solid source, getting spammed with ads for the pills and not sure who is reputable.

Hope Hubbard is ok, hopefully he isn't needed anymore tonight.

That was his point on Shawn Ryan's podcast I believe.
Did an 8 year sentence in the submarine fleet. Worst was 8 weeks submerged in the Persian Gulf on the USS Olympia.

Check out Carter Rd if you haven't yet. Very different, fun, and strangely technical riding.

Tried it, didn't know "wrong way Wednesday", got tired of aholes yelling at me. Rode some of Croom, was wet so the limestone was SLICK. Other trail I've ridden is Mt Dora, which is a cool little trail that I did to kill some time after paddling King's Landing.

Alafia or Santos? I lean Alafia personally
Alafia and Balm-Boyette. Santos is either too easy or too hard. I'm too old for the best part of Santos.

Just an idea, if you can put it off a month you would be able to hike with the fall colors

Already taking the wife to visit her sister in Florida in November. Her sister lives about an hour away from my favorite mtb trails so it's all good.

I had a ~60 mile section planned out in late October, which has about a 99% chance of getting canceled. Will probably use this time to volunteer in East TN/Western NC.

I was leaving this weekend to pick up in Damascus, going to pick up on the Pinhoti trail instead. I thought about volunteering, but think I will wait until I know I won't be taking resources the people need, food, gas etc.

I am section hiking the trail so not up on the resupply issue. I have hiked 470ish miles over the last 4 years, heading back the end of this month for a couple of weeks. The best advice I can give you is to get the FarOut app for your phone. It shows the points of interest including shelters, tentsites, and most importantly, water sources. Best of all it has a comments section for each POI that hikers can add up to date conditions, such as water flow or bear activity. I've not met many assholes on trail, probably because I tend to be one. Not hiking to make new friends, just trying to get away from people. I'm not unfriendly, just not trying to make it a social activity like some people do. Generally not an issue as a section hiker since I don't spend as much time around the same people.
I go spend a week or two on the Appalachian Trail every year but there are usually people to avoid. If I really want to be alone I hike the Black Creek Wilderness area of the Black Creek Trail in the DeSoto NF. No people or cell service to be had. Keep a noisemaker in my pocket and a Garmin inReach to keep the wife informed of my location.
To answer your question, I don't think I am a psychopath.
