Georgia smart enough to know that most of us aren't going to stop bringing bourbon in our assorted clothing items...

That’s fine with me. I don’t understand why people are acting so excited about having $5 Bud Light available at the games
I mean are people going to stop sneaking in minis so they can spend $20 on 3 beers?
More power to you I guess.

People may buy 1 beer when they enter and 1 at halftime. But I’m not getting up and down all game to buy beers when I can put a flask in my boot

I don’t drink liquor.

I mean I have no problem with it, I just can't remember the last time I walked in from a tailgate thinking "Damn it I'd love to grab a insert shitty light beer here " *
* early season games that are 100 degrees excluded - I will buy all the Bud Lights during those

foresee a shite ton of accidents, no alcohol sales just gave people a chance to sober up for the drive home.
Not buying this at all. Anyone that is willing to pay for a bunch of overpriced beers at a game was likely smuggling in a bunch of liquor previously.

While I agree with your point, you should be able to relax with a beer at any sporting event. We're so behind the times in MS, it's ridiculous.

don't blame Bama. They know their base. Can you imagine all the domestic violence arrests that would be made in the stadium after their fist home loss that had stadium wide beer sales

Which schools said no? Was it Alabama, Auburn and MSU? Do you know?
All I know is that Alabama and Auburn wI'll not open it to general seating this year.

Alabama in the process of legalizing medical weed. I hear it got hung up in the house or something.
But I'm fricking shocked. I may just move back home before my life is over yet.

I’d rather not drink than spend way too much on a bad beer.
Now if they started offering some local stuff, then I’ll be excited.

It won't have any effect on the coon asses. They'll be drunk as usual

Everyone is focused on football games, I am more excited about being able to drink a beer at baseball games.

Are any of you aware that alcohol sales were allowed in the past but banned for reasons other than puritanical beliefs?

Ding, ding, ding. Miss one or two series standing in line to buy a nasty beer, which leads to missing another series or two to hit the head. I don't get it.

Can you at least smoke weed in those stadiums?

I think that bill actually passed.

Then Don’t go to their games. It’s really as simple as that. No one is legislating your morality. You have a choice go to the game and don’t drink or stay at home and get as sloppy as you want to.

I am still wondering what the workaround is going to be to the original reason sales were banned.
The reason was the rise of lawsuits over drunks being served and causing damage, it never was about morality.

quote:Man please! When has there EVER been an LSU football game in Red Stick where the booze didn't flow like water. My earliest memories of attending games there was seeing people bringing huge coolers of beer through the turnstiles. Hell, I've gotten to LSU games 2 hours ahead of kickoff and watched the student section getting liquored up while being lead in cheers by the LSU cheerleaders!

You folks are little more than a bunch of drunks looking for a place/reason to get shite-faced...you ain't fooling anybody!
