Always sucks when you have a LA limit of trout and then see a giant tripletail in MS waters and can't legally stop.

Somewhere I fish often:
E Biloxi Marsh and Chandeleur Chain
Trout early AM, Redfish after and then Tripletail on the way in.
Somewhere I only get to go occasionally:
Costa Rica - Roosters & Sails

Treat the wound for possible infection. I would Hibiclens the shite out of it. The last thing you need is Vibrio after dealing with the pain of a sting ray barb lodging in ur foot. If you are past that window of initial infection, just keep the wound clean and go see a Dr if it looks like it is getting infected please. Vibrio has an extremely short fuse. Scalding hot water dulls the pain but that is really for immediately being hit.
All of this. I got popped several years ago while wade fishing and cleaned it well and soaked in the hottest water that I could stand. Ended up seeing a DR just in case, as it was in very warm and dirty water around here. All good, other than the pain for a few hours.
re: Any fishing tips for Toccoa river in late summer?

Love that area, but have always been there in April/May timeframe. I'm a pretty novice fly fisherman with a few attempts on vacations in different locations every year, but always managed to catch some trout around there. Stop into Cohutta Fishing Co in Blue Ridge and they will point you in the right direction.

This top notch group and great boat. You'll catch with them.

It's a ball mount 5200d to the back of the speaker and then one screwed/glue to the boat. Doesn't bounce or move at all with the weight of the speaker. Back one is just a single strip of heavy duty Velcro on bottom of speaker and one on the lid of an access port. Again, doesn't move at all, because of weight of speaker.

The original size (x2) for me. They make larger and smaller ones now. Being able to pair them up, not that it's unique to TBs, is nice. I just like how well they do with saltwater and getting beat to crap and still going.

Just recently bought a Turtlebox when my marine stereo went down. Luv it.
No audio installed when I bought my boat and went with two turtleboxes instead. Have one that I connect to a Ram mount at the bow (facing back) and one under the back platform (facing forward). Quickly pair them up and they sound great. Also nice to be able to carry one up to the beach on the island.

The Pearl, Jourdan, Wolf, Biloxi, Tchoutacabouffe, Pascagoula all dumping tons of fresh water into the MS sound alone. It looks like shaken up chocolate milk right now and Lake Borgne is catching all that too. Will take quite a few heavy incoming tides and no rain to get back to any semblance of normal.

Ole Blue isn't big, but catches everything from trout to cobia every year.
Made a run after work today for a box of trout. Beautiful afternoon, finally, and they were chewing.

Made about the same detour when coming through in January. It was worth it, IMO. I'd never been. Went there and the Chene store and then needed to hit the road before buying anymore crap.

Have been wearing a Magellan brand pair like these for years.
This is the best thing about these boots. No tiny shells getting between your foot and sole.

Agreed. No need for live bait. If you're not catching on artificial, keep moving until you do.

We played well. I’ve seen way worse umps, but that baw behind home got straight frame fricked by the UGA catcher in the 2-3 inning.
Dirt falling out of his glove as the ump called a strike was something for sure.

Our 2021 team lost a series at home to Missouri in embarrassing fashion. Quite sure you're trolling, but if not, baseball isn't for you. We have a lineup to beat anyone, despite a shaky bullpen. Get McPherson back and we have a ridiculous 1-2 again.

 Our fans are the best sometimes.
We just swept 2 SEC teams in a row (+ a win over So Miss midweek). Let me know the last time that happened.
