I think we know which schools resisted lifting the alcohol ban.

don't blame Bama. They know their base. Can you imagine all the domestic violence arrests that would be made in the stadium after their fist home loss that had stadium wide beer sales

Sitting around many of my fellow Bama brethren is painful enough with them sober

I couldn’t imagine sitting next to them drunk off their arse

Dellenger tweeted that Georgia, State and Kentucky are the three that have opposed it in the past.

It would impact me if I went to a game at those stadiums. I’m a grown man and can drink a few beers and still behave responsibly. It’s annoying that the morality police tell me what to do.

Not sure about Alabama but MSU can't. State law - no alcohol sales in state owned buildings.

Yes there’s a state law, but there is a loophole to be granted “resort” status and Ole Miss was proactive and did that. At this time State has no indication of filing for the resort status.

People usually drink to drown their sorrows. Alabama fans usually leave BDS VERY happy.

I understand why Tennessee and LSU would want their fans to drink, perhaps especially after their game with Alabama

Everything else aside if going without alcohol for 4 hours impacts your ability to enjoy a football game you need help.

I really don't GAF one way or the other but foresee a shite ton of accidents, no alcohol sales just gave people a chance to sober up for the drive home.

In MS both 25 and 45 are going to be an even bigger MF'er post game.

Probably because it’s too hard to keep from laughing uncontrollably while trying to make the case that anything in Starkville could be considered a “resort.”

It doesn’t impact me much at all. I just can’t understand why the schools that didn’t want it felt compelled to stop those who did for so many years. Why can’t schools decide for themselves? That’s all LSU has ever wanted.

I don't think Alabama really gives a shite about it.

I'm guessing the administration will find a way to make the most money off it as possible and then announce we are doing it.

That’s fine with me. I don’t understand why people are acting so excited about having $5 Bud Light available at the games.
