I hate when people write of a movie for some minor technical issue but I had to do it here. I love the SR-71 and couldn't get past the idea that it would get shot down by a Mig with guns. There is no shot that a SR-71 pilot would ever put themselves in that position with the speed and ceiling that plane has. The writers should have come up with something else.

As I said, you are worried about the outlier. There is much more of a chance of a non-contact injury from a headfirst dive.

Almost all QB slides go off with no or very little contact. You are worried about the outlier situation. The chance of a non-contact injury diving headfirst I bet, has a much higher possibility of occurring than possibly being injured from being hit going feet first.
Quarterbacks know the rules. You are down when you start to give yoruself up and they are all told dont slide late.

They know they won't get an answer but they will be writing about a need a quote from the coach. I don't get the vitriol some of the reporters get on here. Its a game they play and so do the coaches. Does it hurt to ask, no.

No, they don't. There is zero consistency to this call and it is rarely called this way in the post season (unless its Mahomes). There is no consistency to the officiating product from crew to crew.

I like Clark but he hasn't seen any snaps when it actually mattered. Its easy to have the "it factor" when you have zero pressure on you.

Two games into Jason David's first season he had probably been responsible for 5 touchdowns and dont forget about Jarius Byrd. Also Brandon Browner would have been called for holding on that Jackson INT at the end of the game and we would have eventually lost.

Way to many people are claiming that all of this pressure is on LSU/Kiffin because he doesnt win he shouldnt have left. If LSU loses it wont be good but if Ole Miss losses with all they have put into this game it will be a massive blow.

The possibility of Ole Miss winning at the buzzer and storming the field is not some off the wall scenario. I would assume Ole Miss has some plan for it. While no one would attack Kiffin you would for sure have people trying to get in his face and getting wrecked by LSP, would be a bad scene.
