Life is weird. 10 years ago I hated him. Now I have nothing but respect for him and what he has been able to do as a football coach.

I must be a glutton for punishment…part of me wants him to retire, but the LSU Bama games when we are strong are the best week of the year…I’d just like for us to win them more often.

Forget it, I’d like him to retire.

I think he retires this year if they win it all. He is freaking 70yo. Goes out on top as the greatest college coach ever. Enjoy the last 10 years of your life with your family

Heck no. I want him to stick around long enough for Kelly to kick his butt a few times. He does not handle losing well. We booted Coach Bryant into retirement early and hope to do the same thing to Coach Saban.
Recruits from Louisiana have helped him win a few titles. Let’s erect that fence around LA and cut off his supply of bayou talent and see how he does.
The list is too long to list here.

Yep. He’ll keel over on the sidelines when he’s 85.

Meh, LSU will be ready to go toe to toe with him, once Kelly builds his team. I say he’ll be ready by year 3.

WOW, frick NICK SABAN! I think that frick is where the end of O started. I guess he got that word from the rant!

I'll bet that neither Brian or Nick think this word is acceptable.

in other words, frick YOU.

I think the guy will pull a Joe Pa or Bobby B career almost til the end. It's hard to retire when you are at the top, winning and having fun at what you do.

I think what you are needing is for him to drop dead, because he isn’t going to retire. Saban isn’t leaving until he literally drops dead in his office or on the field one day.

I’m not wishing the man dead. I’m just pointing out what I think is obvious- he’s not quitting until he he’s either dead or completely incapacitated.

Bear Bryant died of heart failure in January after his final season. We didn’t push him into early retirement. He literally coached to the end.

He'll quit when he's 81 years old. That's my prediction. He's gonna want to have time to spend with his Great Grandchildren.

When LSU is good there is not a better football game to watch on the planet than LSU vs bama. We just need to beat Sabans arse into retirement.

Same here. I used to despise him but as time has gone on and as he’s opened up more it’s hard not to recognize him as the greatest coach ever. A living legend as much as I hate to say it. Just hate that he’s doing it at Alabama.

Look up what Bryant are for breakfast every day. It’s a miracle that he didn’t drop dead sooner. Saban will survive on Little Debbie creampies well into his 90s.

Damn talk about a detail oriented coach. The part at 3:30 where he's telling the QB not to pronate his thumb when pitching the ball to the RB... Could you imagine our last two coaches even noticing something like that? No wonder hes been a winner everywhere

LOL. He’s 70, not 90. It’s not like he has one foot in the grave.
