Cottonport, Bunkie, and Hessmer became Bunkie High

Marksville, Lafargue, and Fifth Ward became Marksville High

Moreauville, Bordelonville, Plaucheville, Mansura, and Simmesport became Avoyelles High.

It’s not blackballing. It is pure free market. If the university does not feel their skill set is worth the price they won’t pay it. Same as any other business. If an employee demands and raise and you give it to them then the other employees will want the same. The business owner has no obligation to give the raise and the employee is free to leave and look elsewhere. If you are anti union you are not going to bring pro union guys into your company.
