Didn’t he recommend Houston Nutt when he left us

Yes, and Houston is still available, for the right price!
In the 1980s there was a cool poster, that sold many copies. There was one in our local McDonald’s that had Mike the Tiger sitting in a tree overlooking tiger stadium. It said death Valley, Louisiana.

My dad, who was a student from 1970 to 1974 (and came back a few years later for another degree) told me then that when he was in undergrad, it was called “deaf valley”. Somewhere in the mid 70s, I believe, LSU started promoting “death Valley “.

Ben doesn’t know…so we don’t either
Agreed…Reggie Bush got his Heisman back… whatever they think less had to do with paying V Alexander, should be forgiven now if Reggie is forgiven
I graduated LSU that May, and volunteered on the tarp crew. We worked our tails off that weekend, showing up early to help the groundskeepers get the field ready. I remember trying to push water off the warning track with squeegee - didn’t work well.
Our leader was a guy named Charlie Clary, who was (and still is) the unofficial team chaplain. He “volunteered” us and we got to watch the baseball games during the regional just behind first base dugout. It was awesome.

LSU baseball was not good in the 90s because of Tops. The 1998-1999 school year was the first year of Tops scholarships. The program was passed by the legislature in 1997.

LSU was good in the 1990s because of Skip Bertman.

I hope she will stay disciplined
I am a Bregman fan, but to be fair, I think he also took an 0-4 on Sunday in the 1st game.
I used to think this too - thst college girls could make more on campus that pro but Aaliyah Boston (2022 AP ncaa poy and 2023 wnba ROY) says that is a myth. She absolutely made more as a 1st year pro. The endorsements don’t leave when you turn pro, she said.

We caught up from the early deficit. We had a lead early in the 2nd q. Betts goes to bench and we are down 6 at the half. That was the difference.
Poa had just committed the offensive foul away from the ball, ending the possession. Mulkey took her out. I wouldn’t have left her in either. But she should have told Gilbert not to shoot.
If Del Rosario was a little quicker, she has enough size to move Betts off the block before the entry pass. Morrow did it a couple of times. The announcers pointed out that is legal
Kim took Poa out after that away from the ball offensive foul.
She is 15-16 for 32 pts. We’re gonna need Del Rosario to hack her and to keep running with S. Smith and the others. The girls got really good post up moves and footwork.
X-rays rule out fractures. Then can scan (mri, etc) for soft tissue injury if need to know further info.
Not trolling. Worked late and just got home

Is this game on TV? One of the ESPN networks?
