Gawd, where to start...

Blow out ranked SEC teams at home, can't seem to win on the road (hope that changes this weekend).

"Good" Sam didn't show up until he pulled a hammy and realized that he could actually stay in the pocket and throw passes.

Trey'Dez goes out with an injury, followed by Weeks going out with an injury. Both 7's out of commission for critical games where they were needed.

So, weird and unpredictable is the best I've got. Will "good" Sam and the LSU team that whooped MSU and aTM finally show the same mettle in the road game at Auburn? Or will they get behind early (again) and have to play hero-ball to try and catch up at the end of the game in a hostile environment?

Frankly, I don't think ANY opinion of the Tigers is worth the gum stuck to my shoe until we see how they play @Auburn and against Bama when (hopefully) we get our 7's back. I think those two games will paint a much more reliable picture for the rest of the schedule.

Team is improving and can put together a run, but could also end up 7-5

The team is solid.

There's just absolutely no leadership whatsoever.

LSU is good with potential to be very good. The defense has to show up on the road and that’s on Blake Bakers game plans. On the 2 road losses he was very passive and it cost us the games.

Work in progress, same as week 1 - 6. Issues in the secondary, issues with pressuring QBs, issues with pass protection and at times issues with run blocking. SERIOUS issues with containing QBs capable of running the ball. Finally issues on special teams. Its college football, these are the kinds of issues almost everyone has. Finding them in UGA is a little nit picky but something is always needing to be corrected. I highly doubt Kirby Smart is satisfied.

I don't know how many players we have that could start for any other SEC school but most of them are hurt.

Headed toward exactly where I felt we would be before the season started, which is 9-3 at best but very possibly 8-4. The same BS that has plagued us the first two years is still screwing us this season. A coaching staff that doesn't pay attention to detail, can't make offensive in-game adjustments, and continues to have entire halves of games where we literally look like we've never practiced anything we're trying to do. Last weeks game looked like a retarded monkey humping a football. And the coaching staff on the sidelines with looks on their faces like they had no idea what planet they were on.

Unfortunately, we're stuck with this PAC 12 coaching staff for two more years before we can afford the buyout.

This. Our season goes as Blake's defense goes. Will he choose to lean on his defense's strengths and stay aggressive at critical times? I'm skeptical.

Sam Leavitt takes heat, but he's played well enough to win in our 2 losses. Well, he did have 2 bad plays at Kentucky and they were bad bad, but he was outstanding otherwise.

I'm feeling better about AG's hire. I'm hopeful that the improvements made over the bye week stick. We looked like a vastly different team in Athens.

I'm encouraged because there were improvements made. Doubly encouraged by the Atkins move. That's a coach that is in control of his team and is setting a standard (and an example) with a key player.

Not sure how the rest of the season plays out and, barring some bizarre collapse/meltdown, not too concerned. Our roster needs major work and for now it looks like AG is the guy to trust to build this thing back.

Lsu - offense is improving but defense will likely be the issue and keep them out of the playoffs.

UGA is the team to beat. Nobody really looks like a slam-dunk NC team right now....but UGA looks as good as anyone. We have issues for sure, but then so does everyone else. We just played our worst game in years, and it still took a last second FG by a good Auburn team to beat us. That was a voodoo game where the stars all aligned and everything went wrong (and I still believe Gunner had a mild concussion). I am mostly concerned about our defense...particularly DBs. If I'm the opposing OC, on every 3rd and long I'm just throwing it deep and hoping for a PI. That has killed us all year.

However....it would not shock me if we lost to OM. SECCG will probably be UGA vs OM or TN (don't count out KY either).

I worry about DBs.
But my concern is their tackling.

Tackling has dropped off the past 2 games.

Every defense is giving up big plays.
I think you have a false notion that it is just UGA.

We still dont get enough pressure with a flat 4 man pass rush. We can get to the QB with simulated pressures sending 4. As players get healthy, we are hoping to be able to be better in moving a QB off his platform.

Our D line has played up to its potential only the last two games; if that lengthens into a trend, we should have an elite D. But I still worry about our depth in the secondary; a key injury there would really hurt.

Offense is stout and improving every week.

It wouldn’t shock me to win out, but that would require everything to fall into place every week.

We’re 5-2 with a decent win against Florida.

We have away games left at Arky and Georgia, and home games against Texas, Kentucky, and Oklahoma.

Not convinced we can get two more wins. We will probably finish 6-6 or 7-5.

disagree with this.

It was our worst result in years, considering the ranking of the opponent, but I saw some solid drives and real effort out there, and we were just beaten.

Of course we made mistakes and didn’t play excellent football. But we didn’t play any worse than we have at times this year, much less in years prior.

We simply lacked the sense of urgency and leadership in crunch time to avoid the big mistakes (Gunner) and keep our composure (Harris) when it counted most.

Honestly this is the weirdest CFB season ever and I don’t think anyone is even remotely close to great.

UGA is still on pace to win the SEC for the 3rd year in a row. Is that not remotely close to great?
