Ole Miss better than expected for me. I expected about 9-3 with the schedule and amount of pressure. They still may go 9-3 or 8-4 but it’s all positives for me

Beamer's schizophrenia continues, yet again.

Close out two games you should have closed out, and you're 5-1 and in the driver's seat in the SEC.

But, Beams can't do it. He'll still get another major scalp this year, at least, but he can't turn into the hunted.

Get well soon, Kamario.

I love the September that State had, but injuries plus the schedule ramping up have soured the mood some.

I have some long term questions about Lebby after Kamario is gone because I think his recruiting has not gone very well. But I think this group has a realistic path to 8-4 or 7-5, and then next year the expectation should be to participate in the expanded Playoff.

Badly needing key positions to be healthy for OL continuity as well as our top WR/deep threat to open things back up on offense.

Happy but still cautious. If the defense has truly turned a corner then we are going to frick some teams up. That’s a massive “if” though

Those of us with dogs will understand the reference, but you know when they get into licking their balls really obnoxiously, I feel that might have us going into Auburn. Not taking any credit from Auburn.

Four fumbles against Alabama, recovered all four, and won by three. That could have been a bloodbath the other way.

I’m hoping this is a wake up call especially with the bye week. I think we’re solid in all three phases of the game (not even hating on Bobo), but small things like ball control could kill us down the stretch.

Just my opinion.

Ole Miss is standing at 5-1. Our one loss was on the road against Florida, and they played music, so it really doesn't count as a loss, or if it does, it was Lane's team that lost (since he gets credit for any win). It was right after LSU's Super Bowl against us, so it is what it is. Defense has been very much improved the last two games, which is a sign of great coaching.

Better than the W-L record. Need to be more consistent and get healthy, and this is a playoff team.

LSU goes as Leavitt goes. If he doesn't have the head scratching jump fumble against Kentucky LSU is likely 6-1 right now.

If we get 31/38 for 289yds and 4 TD Leavitt the rest of this year then LSU is a deep playoff team.

If we get 16/27 for 158yds and 1 TD / 3 INTs Leavitt LSU is 7-5.

Garbage on offense, elite on defense, have been pulling games out, but came up a foot off in a loss. Not gonna win another natty this year.

Defense has improved, but it was hard to not improve after that garbage against Florida (and the second half against Louisville and LSU). I'm gonna laugh if Arch throws for 300+ yards and 3+ Tuddys

LSU would be undefeated at this point if Spears, Weeks, and Green don't get injured.

Being 5-2, hopefully 6-2 at this point next week heading into the bye week and getting Green and Weeks back for the Bama game would do a lot to alter the potential of this LSU team.

We have the ability to finish 10-2 and secure a CFP spot, but we also have the ability to finish 7-5 or 8-4. I like the former, though.

I will be disappointed if we flounder in the back half and end up worse than 8-4. This team is certainly capable of 9-3 or even 10-2, but I'm not buying into that right now. Have to get Singleton and VB3 healthy to open up the vertical passing game more because that gives the running game space to operate. I think this coaching staff is starting to find guys who deserve more PT who they can build upon for next year (most of the OL will be back, might see who Tramell Jones really is soon, Shady Hayward has flashed, Ty Jackson looks absolutely legit at LB).

UGA is the team to beat. Nobody really looks like a slam-dunk NC team right now....but UGA looks as good as anyone. We have issues for sure, but then so does everyone else. We just played our worst game in years, and it still took a last second FG by a good Auburn team to beat us. That was a voodoo game where the stars all aligned and everything went wrong (and I still believe Gunner had a mild concussion). I am mostly concerned about our defense...particularly DBs. If I'm the opposing OC, on every 3rd and long I'm just throwing it deep and hoping for a PI. That has killed us all year.

However....it would not shock me if we lost to OM. SECCG will probably be UGA vs OM or TN (don't count out KY either).

Have surpassed expectations. I was expecting to have a competitive team with an improved defense coming into the season. I didn’t expect us to manhandle Alabama

A wild card right now. Will know a lot about who we are after the Auburn game.

same opinion I've had every week since 2023. We have a very talented team led by a below average coach. The results speak for themselves.
