$100,000,000,000,000 Kiffin doesn’t do better than Golding did in the playoffs at any point in his tenure at LSU.

Does he get another coach to get him to the playoff in the first place? Does he also get a G5 as the first matchup?

it can’t be as bad as having Brian Kelly as head coach with that crap of a team last year.
It definitely can be.

Hiring the biggest scumbag in the sport
What makes him a scumbag? Was he a scumbag while at Ole Miss. Did Ole Miss fans object? They seemed to be pretty silent during his highly successful stint as their head man.
Ole Miss used home state judge rulings to their benefit. Were they vilified?
Funny, but all of the '22 folks were unjustly treated by the NCAA. None of them actually made an NFL team. They were in tryouts, while their expense were paid with a small stipend. None of them have played a down in a regular season game or paid the league minimum. The NFL took a flyer on them.
"n the NFL, most undrafted free agents (UDFAs) sign contracts that do not include a signing bonus, or include a very small one. If a player is cut during training camp, they keep whatever signing bonus they were paid upfront, but they do not receive a salary for the time they spent in camp."

But what if LSU doesn’t do well? What if you miss the playoffs completely?
Then you, and the rest of the hypocrites on the Rant, can dance and have a circle jerk to celebrate.

Backwards, hillbillies who couldn’t even rig themselves into a winning team.
We're in the SEC and there are backwards hillbillies in every state. It's not unique to Louisiana. Texas has its snare of knuckle dragging mouth breathers.
It's the pot calling the kettle black accusing LSU of "rigging" anything. Every program tries to outbid the other to collect the most talent. Every program will seek to use every legal tactic to get there. Our guy just happens to be ahead of the game as he was when he was at Ole Miss.

Why is it the 2 two teams who never won a championship are preaching to LSU. At least Alabama and Georgia have won titles.

They aren't "pro players"
Some people are arguing that all college players are pros. Other people are arguing that signing an NFL contract, being on an NFL roster and playing in an NFL preseason game doesn’t make someone a pro.

LSU’s season is riding on the same things that Texas AM’s season is. What exactly is your point? What if Texas AM doesn’t win? I don’t understand the thread.
Posted on 8/29/26 at 10:16 pm to captdalton
quote:Exactly. You can't have it both ways. If they are "pro players" then judges get to step in and arbitrate a CBA. If you are going to say they aren't pro players, then any team that picks them up hasn't done anything wrong
