This might be the most Aggie post I've ever read. "LSU shouldn't try to win, because if they do, they might not. But if they don't, it's all good."

Your post really got me thinking. Thank you for that.

As a football program LSU shouldn’t do everything they can, within fair rules, to win. That would get people’s hopes up. They should have just kept Brian Kelly so fans wouldn’t expect much.

It’s nice to see the Aggie win mentality at work.

I would prefer to have an intelligent convesation about roster personnel.

Will the Ags be seemless with a new OC and DC, and new DL coach? Will our OL be worth a shiite?

I wasn’t a fan of the hiring of your OC at first but now that there’s been some time it makes sense to me. Why bring in someone with a new scheme and offense in when Marcel operates at a high level within it? He’s spent so much time in it, bringing in a new offense could make him play more hesitant as he’d be learning it too.

I definitely have concerns about our OL as well as I do Arch. Can he find actual touch on his balls? It seems like he likes to throw it hard and turns it a lot so will be interesting to see if he’s made improvements in that aspect.

LSU has five ranked matchups, not four DERP.

You do understand these rankings can also change through the season, right?

So, perma ban if LSU doesn’t lose all of their ranked matchups (and I’ll exclude Aggie, just for you).

Every team has a new roster every year. No one cares. Except the folks that are already losing interest

They are NOT pro PLAYERS. They have not taken a single snap in a NFL game. And it’s not just LSU. In fact, it’s not LSU at all. The players are suing!

That is a dumb take. I don’t want NFL players in college football but if the courts say they can play which schools wouldn’t take them? College Football is a different game today with the ever expanding playoffs, ties to gambling, crazy transfer rules, and the erosion of traditional rivalries. Are any of those good for the game? I don’t think so but I’m still watching.

And that is what this is all about. Most people do not consider adding players cut from a NFL roster to a college roster as being fair. Since the beginning of college sports playing former professional players in college has been outside the rules and lines of what reasonable people consider to be fair play.

An NFL preseason game is an NFL game. To argue otherwise is ludicrous and makes you look either a) stupid or b) too biased to even have a discussion about it. Or both.

Even if they are exhibition games, they are NFL exhibition games.

Most of the players on other teams don't care if lsu gets a few guys that got cut from the nfl.

The legal system disagrees especially since the starting QB for every SEC team is making more money than every player cut from an NFL team.

Had there never been exceptions or NIL your point would be valid. The rules have all changed and this is fair for the current rules NCAA has allowed.

They had an opportunity to dispute this on Thursday when they could have answered their Show Cause subpoena. They elected to take a knee.

What if you miss the playoffs completely?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a normal thing for LSU?
