Enjoy your new Spirit Halloween store New Orleans. They’re leaving undoubtedly due to the decay of the city and the massive losses they’re incurring from thieves. The filth and trash that inhabit that city are why they’ll never again have nice things. I love New Orleans, but despise 80% of the population, which is why my family and I will avoid that city at all cost. Crooked piece of shite mayors, DEI police that refuse to clean up the steets, quickly deteriorating infrastructure…while the money that could be used to fix the city is used to line the pockets of the over 5,000 over-paid and under-skilled city employees.
Yep…it’ll take a mass awakening to slow it down. That isn’t happening any time soon. Seen it play out all across the world. It doesn’t end well.
Sucks knowing that the knowledge to end all cancer undoubtedly exists, but isn’t considered profitable, hence we all keep dying prematurely.

One of these states is not like the others. I wish our state didn’t freaking suck so bad. Our people are what makes Louisiana so great, and our people are also what makes it suck so bad. Sadly, this won’t change in my lifetime.
Where are these early models I keep seeing mentioned? The models leading to this past event proved to be pretty accurate. Hope the ones being discussed today for Valentine’s Day are completely wrong.
Obviously fixing the system will require burning the existing one to the ground. The existing one is designed to do exactly what it’s doing
So there’s no reason to fix the system because the system is broken? That attitude is what’s bullshite.
Update. As stated, they aren’t doing the named storm thing. Thanks again for everyone’s advice. Still no power in most of the area around us. It’s crazy though…10 miles east and it’s like nothing happened.

bullshite. Attitudes like this are why I said it was beyond repair. Stinking attorneys.
Honestly, what difference does it make now? Even if sentenced to death, he would spend 40 years on death row filling appeals…all paid for by tax payers. If they did get around to killing him before he died of natural causes, no one would even remember who he was or who he killed. Our justice system is broken beyond repair. Bring back public hangings. You get one appeal. Appeals and sentence must be completed in 12 months or less.
So freaking over this. Still no power. Still freaking ice everywhere. At least it’s melting some. I’m moving out of this death trap asap. Maybe somewhere in Arizona. Nevada maybe. San Diego would be so nice, if not for the people. Anywhere but this miserable freaking place.
Looks ridiculous. Completely stupid.

100% - If here illegally, deport. Period.
My response…you bet. Living room, bedrooms, and each bathroom has one in the top left drawer by sinks. Bathroom ones are secure in quick access mechanical boxes…so technically locked, I guess.
Think I’ll use the turkey gun. Wider spread.
North part of Ouachita Parish. Y’all already know, but it isn’t good. Sucks waiting on trees to snap and land on your home. Would be a miracle if at least one of the three threatening ones didn’t get us. Thought about grabbing the shot gun and a bunch of 6 and 8 shot…see if I can knock some of the ice from the top of the trees. Anyone ever tried it?

Trees are back to snapping all over again. The once beautiful woods behind my house look like a freaking war zone now. The tops of trees snapped as far as you can see.

I still believe there’s no way we’re getting power back any time soon. Now I believe it will be several days, at least. The widespread destruction to the grid is going to a massive job.
