Semper Fi brother. In years past, we always set up adjacent to the baseball field, down the hill. Nice place and was almost always 85% LSU fans. You will have to get on campus really early to drop off your stuff because parking near there (or anywhere near the stadium) is non-existent. Have fun and Geaux Tigers!! Give ‘em Hell!!

A properly setup 2stroke gas drone is about $130K…pilots are available….especially in big cities. Flight time is about 5 hours. Three or four pilots to rotate and four or five drones and you’re set up. Probably need a chase vehicle or two for launch and retrieval.

In my opinion, helicopters are much safer than planes. I don’t know how many hours I have sitting in the back of helicopters (Hueys, 46s, 53s, the occasional Blackhawk) but it’s a freaking lot. Only had two basically fall out of the sky…only a few hundred feet up both times…walked away both times. Not many people walk away from airplane crashes. I was involved in testing the Ospreys when they first came out…we lost a lot of Marines testing those things. Whenever I was on an Osprey, the pucker factor was high.

25 years ago, I was a Marine Combat Instructor at the School of Infantry. We just happened to be in between classes. My fellow instructors and I were in the company office where a TV stayed on with a news feed. My best friend Lonny was there with me. “Breaking News”…the first plane hit. All of us are watching. The second plane hits…we knew 100% that it was an attack…then everything else. We all immediately starting making plans to get back to the fleet. Some of us ended up back at 1/8…1st Battalion 8th Marines. I had already spent four years previously with 1/8. We knew what was coming…months later, it was on. A couple years later, I found myself medically retired, career over, my best friend was dead, along with many others. So began 20 years of war. RIP Lonny. Semper Fi

This happens everywhere, as far as I know. It’s a scam on epic proportions. I assume everything is digital now, but I’d bet my left nut they still charge hundreds for the download.
