The NCAA/SEC fumbled this whole thing

This right here. People are acting like this will be an every year thing. It affects one signing class. The NCAA fricked this, not any university.

"There's a lot of parts of this I don't like. I don't think professionals should come back to college sports and college football. Do I believe NFL players should come back to college? No. However, I will operate at the highest level within the rules to give LSU the most competitive advantage as possible. As are many other major programs. When the rules and laws change, we will operate at the highest level at that time within the rules."

In fairness to LSU, they were at this point under BK, or did you already forget your Ags yukking it up towards the end of the evening in a near empty Death Valley?

So they are already working to get beyond that point and all LK has to do is turn the D over to a solid Coordinator as he’ll likely have the offense well taken care of.

Whether LK ultimately succeeds or not remains to be seen but the LSU brand is already well secure regardless.

I don’t know….. it can’t be as bad as having Brian Kelly as head coach with that crap of a team last year.

Could be worse than that...we could be Texas A&M

Y’all paid $40+ million for a roster, almost $100 million for a staff, and you’re causing chaos the week before the season to try and sign professional players.

So you’re telling me LSU boosters and fans will be ok with 9-3 and missing the playoffs after all that? Ok
LSU paid to adjust the trajectory of the program overall. Kelly had leveled off at 8-4/9-3 and a meaningless bowl win. That's fine for a couple seasons to recover from a bad stretch, but there was no sign of elevating and taking the next step. And yeah, it's been proven that you CAN take that next step at LSU, so it's not being delusional to demand more.

So- Kiffin. Who elevated Ole Miss, an objectively lesser program in the same conference. He could do it there, should be able to do it at LSU too.
Big money spending... that's the carrot LSU used to get him to come over. You can't promise "we have more resources" and then give him peanuts.

And LSU/Kiffin is not causing chaos, it's players filing eligibility lawsuits. He's simply looking at what's available.

*For those who said he's tampering with NFL players... that's stupid. There's no question or doubt- if you could make an NFL roster, you take that instead. That's everyone's endgame.
The only position where that's iffy is QB, and only for those not guaranteed to walk into a spot (ie the 1st rd picks). That's why Pavia and Beck came back last year, why Chambliss came back this year. But Mendoza, Simpson etc- they were locks, they went.

Another OM, Bama, A$M fan posting about LSU.

Kind of gives me a warm feeling seeing their concern

This is rich coming from an Aggie.

You’ve been a laughingstock for pretty much the whole existence of the university.

History says a whole lot of wins will get vacated. Maybe another show cause. Likely probation, loss of scholarships, and a ban on post season play. Another LSU coaching search.

I don't know. I don't like throwing stones in glass houses. How do we know what we have on the OL?

Feel better about the DL.

Is Reed more consistent?

Are our new coordinators worth a shiite?

All the A&M fans are assuming they’re going to win.

Hiring the fattest coach in the sport
Recruiting directly from the pocket book and directing them to think male cheerleaders is normal.
Home state judges issuing dildos to their benefit

Who cares if we win, baby!

But what if A&M doesn’t do well? What if they don’t score one singular point in the playoff completely?

The whole brand collapses. The reputation you’ve built over decades- empty trophy cases, fake military, the rich LGBTQ+ ties.

It all becomes a laughing stock. Backwards, oil tycoons who couldn’t even rig themselves into a winning team.

Sure is a lot of dickriding this season, Aggies. Best of luck to you.
