Twice
Auburn Sugar Bowl vs Syracuse and late 70's "tie" versus Georgia. Infamous orange jersey game. Also one of the biggest screw jobs by an entire referee crew I have even seen. As an example - at the end Georgia tries the catch and lateral. The first receiver was on both knees but no whistle. William Andrews absolutely scored on last play before the half

Ohio State at LSU 13-13 tie in 1987.

I’ll shamelessly admit that I could not turn it off and that’s exactly how I felt! But I’ve also felt that way about a lot of Razorback games with higher scores

Texas 21 Syracuse 21, 1993. Texas had to kick a 50+ yard field goal at the end for the tie and everyone acted like it was a win. Those were some lean years.
Back in the day, if there was a tie in the Texas HS playoffs they’d advance the team that broke the opponent’s 20 yard line more often. I don’t remember what happened if that was also a tie.

“ That was the Justin Canale, Hoyle Granger and others. They played in the last Liberty Bowl played in Philadelphia. We beat NC State in the freezing cold. I can remember walking in a shop and the guy was listening to the game against Ole Miss. We were thrilled with a tie.”
LOL Not my Dad, he was so tired of not beating Ole Miss he was M A D!!! I think Sonny Fisher was the QB and we had a really good coaching staff…Johnny Majors was one of the Asst. Coaches.
We had two ties FL 9-9 and OM 10-10 and lost to Bama 20-19. Literally 4 points away from an undefeated SEC Season.
And the Liberty Bowl in PHL that year brought out Jack Cristil’s famous quote “The weather was colder than a pawnbroker’s heart.”
Temp was 13 degrees.

LSU v. OHIO ST. Tiger Stadium 1986…

Didn't attend, but recall the game. I was only 14, but the 93 Bama v UTk game was pretty amazing, tie or not.
As much as I liked that game, ties have no place in the greater part of sports. The Cowboys v Packers tie last year was just unfullfilling for their fans.
Fun fact: since 1974 rule change for OT in the NFL, the Jags are the only teams that hasn't had a tie because they just decided as an organization to lose as much as possible. ;)

And then in 1995, Tennessee won 41-14, starting a 7-game winning streak over Bama. And yes, everybody in the stadium knew Palmer was gonna get the ball and the Vols still couldn't stop him.

I was there and remember it well. The dramatic ending, featuring Palmer's heroics, made it seem like a Bama victory.

I haven't. But I remember watching a couple on TV. As Florida St was down huge, and embarked upon a furious comeback to Florida, I remember thinking to myself if Bowden would kick the extra point or go for a 2 point conversion if Florida St scored a TD. Bowden chose to tie the game. I had forgotten about this until I saw it on YouTube later, but Florida St got the ball back late in the game. And had moved the ball to around midfield with 20 - 30 seconds left. But Kanell chose to run up the middle of the field for a few yards instead of throwing the ball away. And the clock ran out. And the score was deadlocked.
Another was when Michigan played at Notre Dame. Michigan moves the ball to the Notre Dame 30 yard line with a little over a minute left. But Grbac throws a head scratching INT deep in Notre Dame territory with no Michigan player anywhere close. Despite having the ball deep in their own territory, I thought Holtz would still try to pass the ball. But he chose to run the ball. And essentially ran the clock out forcing a 17 - 17 tie as boos rained down from the crowd. John Dockery of NBC asked him after the game why he decided to play for the tie. Holtz quickly became agitated, claiming he wanted to run the ball to see what Michigan's coverage was. And that he was playing to win. But he strangely didn't call a timeout that would have stopped the clock after 2nd down. Michigan somehow had 3 ties that year. Went undefeated. And won the Rose Bowl.
The last college tie was Illinois/Wisconsin in 1995. Illinois needed a win to make a bowl. The game ended 3 - 3. I had forgotten about this, but OT rules were in place for the bowl season that year. Which makes one wonder why they weren't for the regular season. Wisconsin had 2 ties that year.

There was a running series with Indiana during Widenhoffer and Stull's regime. None of them ended with a Tigers win. Both tied a few years earlier when the Tigers blew a chip shot FG at the end.
The last tie in team history was Smith's first year. They played Hawaii the last week of the season. The game was a late start. And I don't know if it was even televised. But Hawaii scored a TD and 2 point conversion with seconds left to tie. What was interesting was Smith referred to the game as a loss multiple times in the postgame.

Yup, '93 TSIO-Bama-Tennessee. Palmer at QB on the 2 point conversion to tie at Legion Field.

Yes my Alabama brother and I'm going to date myself but it was with you all Tigers stadium 1985 Mike Chula was your quarterback. I think y'all scored late and faked our jocks off. Going for two two I think pitch the ball out to the right. Mike Shula pinch the ball out so I forget who the halfback was and rolled out to the left. He threw back to the left to make Shula. I think that was a two-point conversion to tie it up. Or maybe that was a touchdown to tie it up. I think we marched down the field and Mr. What would have been a pretty good field gold I think if I remember correctly. But anyway yes 14 to 14 time 1985 my brother

Bama-LSU 1985 14-14
Felt like a loss because we missed a short FG FTW at the end.
LSU-Nebraska 1976 6-6
Felt like a win since Nebraska was preseason #1 and we were coming off a losing season.

I was at the Bama-UT game in Bham when Tennessee broke their losing streak to us. That one felt pretty close to a win cause all hope was lost when Bama punted with under 4 minutes left. Folks started for the exits, and when Palmer scored the 2 pt. conversion to tie it, it was as loud as I had heard Legion Field. Not losing on that day to that team did definitely not feel like kissing your sister.

I went to the basketball hall of fame that morning with two friends. Thought for sure I’d be back in time for the game. They were both big UNC and basketball fans and we stayed for way longer than I thought and we weren’t going to make it back in time so I made them pull in to a mall somewhere in Massachusetts and watched the whole game at Sears in the tv section. The people around me thought I was crazy. And maybe they were right. Especially considering I was rather animated in my youth when watching Alabama. Not much has changed. Roll Tide

1994 - one of the finer datapoints that RC Slocum would never get us to the pinnacle.
#7 A&M played a post death penalty SMU team in the Alamodome and it was a 21-21 tie.
That SMU team would end up 1-9-1 on the year. A&m would finish 10-0-1.
We needed a hail mary the year before to beat SMU at Kyle Field.
