I suggest LSU hire a voodo queen and conjure the spirit of Paul Dietzel and infuse it in Dan Mullen. Problem solved.

No venue can surpass Mercedes-Benz. It is perfect in so many ways. Forget the rotating-city idea.

This is the problem with the SECG and all confernce championship games for that matter. In addition to jeopardizing a playoff berth, it adds to the wear and tear on players possibly leading to serious injuries. The championship games are fantastic and great fun to attend, but I reluctantly believe they have to go.
First, I am not an Auburn fan, but I have an observation, for what it's worth.

The case for Durkin is that he remarkably rejuvenated the Auburn team in one week and actually formulated a game plan that challenged a very effective Vandy offense. (Contrast this to the Florida interim.) He has the defense part covered. Spend the money and hire a quality offensive staff. Visit the portal for good offensive players. Why search for the elusive White Knight when you have a proven coach right now?

Add Heupel to the list.
The solution for Auburn is obvious.
Save yourself the trouble and expense of looking for Mr. Goodbar and hire Durkin. He accomplished in one week what Freeze could not do in three seasons, namely that he motivated his team and was well prepared.

I cannot believe you LSU fans persist in the Saban fantasy. You're suffering from SDS: Saban Derangement Syndrome.

Dooley. Now he's running for the Senate!
You're underestimating the Commodores. They are strong on both sides of the ball. Clark Lea will have them ready. Vandy recov ers from last week's disappointment and throttles Auburn.

Florida has become a graveyard for coaches--shouldn't be, but it is. Having said that, I think Jeff Brohm
would ne a good fit. Maybe he could break the curse

I think the chances are zero that Saban is interested in returning to coaching. LSU fans are delusional in their fantasizing about "Saban to the rescue." Someone mentioned an offer of $25,000,000 for four years. Forget it; Nick doesn't need any more money.

At Bryant-Denny?

Nick Saban is not going to coach anywhere. Why would he leave a prosperous, happy retirement to deal with all the messes he would inherit. Also, he does not like the current landscape of college football; that's why he retired.
Are there any quality, exceptionally motivated high school coaches out there? They might be willing to take a chance at Auburn.
LSU fans are delusional with the Saban fantasy. He's not leaving his happy retirement for the train wreck in Baton Rouge.
James Carville is a blooming idiot. He epitomizes the Democrats--irrational, emotional, prone to violence, and totally helpless.

What happened in the LSU locker room at halftime? Did BK alienate the whole team? They looked totally lost the second half.
Your post(Nasty_Canasta) is the most sensible response to this thread. This game could go either way.
