I believe the education board specified it must be the King James Version for good measure.
These debates always remind me of the great 1920s governor Ma Ferguson when asked if schools in the valley should teach some courses in Spanish.
“If English was good enough for Jesus, it’s good enough for Texas schools.”

The only chance the Germans had was to turn the population to their favor.. like in Ukraine when they first arrived. A better way of life. The Roman model to some degree.
Of course that was short lived because they were nazis after all.

The TD Poli board… where Bloomberg is fake news and some incel in a basement posting as “libsgonewild” on X is 100% legit.
There’s a bit to unpack here but it feels like Mrs. Church may be hiding something.
Even so, be nice to your servers out there. Even if they’re incompetent or rude or you’re “having a bad day.”

Late July / early August is the true doldrums.
In the meantime, we have Wimbledon, British Open, Tour de France, World Cup.

Cantlay just looks like a massive a-hole all the time.
Wyndham is an historic hothead but at least he’s trying things to bring that under control. Meditation etc.
In any case he’s been at the top of his game this year.

One of the worst things about this board is the random bullshite X posts.
I can make up some BS and post it to X with a cool sounding handle… repost it here and get a few hundred likes.
People will believe anything that confirms a bias or sounds conspiratorial in any way.

It’s doubtful it would even pass without the filibuster. Murkowski exhibit A. Thune also. Very rural states and harder to get the paperwork.

I would argue it’s very, very much in focus.
Agree with all of that. After Ike… Rs have been mostly shills for the MIC. Something he warned everyone about, ironically.
JMs is really better than most. It checks all the boxes.

My hate for OU is mostly confined to their football team. I like the state in general (esp. eastern part) and have good friends from there.
But if they win another baseball title it’s getting a little too close for comfort. An incredibly impressive run considering their mediocre regular season… that hopefully ends in defeat.

Texas 21 Syracuse 21, 1993. Texas had to kick a 50+ yard field goal at the end for the tie and everyone acted like it was a win. Those were some lean years.
Back in the day, if there was a tie in the Texas HS playoffs they’d advance the team that broke the opponent’s 20 yard line more often. I don’t remember what happened if that was also a tie.

Why would they want to attack their consumer base? Even if they’re “targeted” it’s terrible publicity.
Or maybe you mean using them to transport drugs or aid in the transport.

The conditions and greens, and Bryson’s temperament don’t seem like a great mix. Same for Rory.
Not a groundbreaking opinion, but this feels like a Scottie major and it could be something like -3 that wins.
Reed and Lowry as “dark horses.”
