Texas plays a version of prevent most of the first half… but then not when they really needed to. smh

That play aside, not terribly upset with the first half. Feels like Ali - Frazier.
Fowler impressed Texas isn’t getting blown out already.
Settle down it’s 7-0.
Lucky to be down by just 7.

tOSU defense is next level. Better start getting the ball out immediately, Ewers has zero mobility against a defense like this.
The storm is forecast to be over with temps around 40 by gametime. Getting to and from the stadium should be fine…although Jerryworld and wintry weather have a checkered past.

It’s Thursday into Friday morning that could be a major travel mess.
CFA is fast food not health food. They have great marketing and great service.

People fall into a similar trap with Chipotle. Fresh doesn’t mean healthy.

It was simply very good timing. If Texas had joined in the 2010’s it wouldn’t have been pretty (regardless of schedule).

Instead, we joined when we have our best coaching staff and collection of talent in 15 years.

UT - Clemson tix are going for $95. That may be more surprising.

Great weather
Afternoon game
2 big brand names who’ve never played before
Large metro area

The playoffs are watering down demand. And fans are holding their $ until the championship, if their team makes it.

I’ll be curious to see prices for the peach bowl if Texas makes it. I can’t see a ton of demand from ASU and Texas to travel across country on New Years for a quarter final game.
Anyone who gets through this tournament and wins the NC will be deserving.

Objectively, I don’t think that’ll be Texas but no one will bring up this topic if so.
It felt like all of them wanted to be done and in front of a warm fire. Not much interaction with each other or the crowd in the night shadows.

Bryson did seem really pissed he was putting like a muni amateur, though.
Need NFL minor and developmental leagues, like MLB.

Academic institutions shouldn’t be a part of this semi pro industry. But they sure love the $ so g’luck with the minor league idea.
This is an interesting topic actually. Texas very rarely will wear throwbacks or a helmet sticker to mark some anniversary, but absolutely never an alternate color combination. Burnt orange pants or helmet would look ridiculous though.

I can’t remember seeing USC or Bama in anything other than their standard home or road unis.

You got that right. I rented an Altima for several days and was blown away by the fuel economy which was hybrid-like for an all gas engine.

First 10 seasons were fantastic. Then it got preachy woke.

 The Simpsons has never been woke… beyond Lisa always being that before we even had a term for it. And she’s made ample fun of for it.

The 90s Simpsons is probably the cleverest show in TV history. They had some fantastic writers competing against each other. Not to mention the unsurpassed satire on American culture.

It dumbed down considerably in the 00s as they lost writing talent.

I got an email about that show and rounding up a crew for tickets now.

Rumor is they were so high on coke in the studio, the producer said “just let the backup singer finish the song.”

It’s bureaucracy gone wild in the healthcare industry from top to bottom, along with tech, malpractice insurance and other factors driving costs through the roof. There needs to be a DOGE for THAT but we won’t get it with a new laissez faire administration. Don’t expect much change other than an even stronger drive for more profits. The foxes are about to be in the henhouse as far as regulation.

Even so, people outright championing what happened to Thompson are sick in the head, and it’s a sad reflection of where our society and morals are. Scary, actually.

With the new documentary… what y’all got?

The royal family approves of this.
Can’t disagree. It’s not a philosophy thing though. RB injuries left the room pretty bare, although Wisner stepped up as the season wore on.

Against UGA, the o line got manhandled in the running game. Simple as that.
