Leverage is everything in the MLB draft. College seniors taken in the 1st round could get stuck with a $50k bonus or less and can’t do squat about it. Juniors and 3rd year sophomores drafted can return to college if they don’t get a good offer/fair deal.
If a good deal is made you’re better...

BK took a team with 36 scholarship players and back to back 6-6 seasons. He made the SECCG his first year, (something some schools still haven’t done in their history) had two 10 win seasons, beat Alabama (should have twice), had his recruit win the...

Colleges costs across the country are high, so it’s not a TOPS specific issue. At LSU tuition itself is reasonable, but dorms, meal plans and “fees” are over $7,000/semester - with TOPS!!!...

FWIW, I agree. You don't pull a pitcher that's pitching well in the hopes of replacing him with a pitcher who you think will pitch well.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Of course, if Ack gave up a homer in the 9th we'd all be second guessing "why didn't Jay put his best guy in?"
