We're still several years removed from even playing in the SEC. I have no idea what ours, or any, of the the teams in the SEC will look like in 2022, '23 or whenever the first year we play will be.
I'm just saying it's ironic that according to everyone it's a foregone conclusion that Texas will be automatically in the bottom tier when the most recent examples of newcomers show the opposite effect.

I don't know if they knew his name in the big 12 or not. I know Oklahoma knew his name when they played A&M in a bowl game. I thought I was watching a track meet, the way Manziel was running through and around Oklahoma's defense. I don't remember the score, I am sure the sooner guys can tell you.

Dallas media has always been ant-Aggie/Pro-UTA.
The THSCA and high school players generally prefer OU/A&M over UTA nowadays - they'll have to start winning if they want to get back to relevance.
You've gone through 2-3 roster cycles without UTA doing anything and HS kids have just seen a mostly .500 program in the Big12.
Not sure Sark is the guy...their staff is lightyears ahead of Herman though so maybe.

That's been Engle's shtick for years. His audience is a bunch of Big12 homers and pumping out anything they want to hear is good for business.
He was opposed to A&M's exit and wrote that tu would rule the state and lock us out on recruiting...probably even stole language from Dodds and his "sliver of East Texas" bull shite.
