Clarification that the second yellow was for delaying the restart. That’s honestly a billion times worse.

It’s a special rule for teams hosting and currently leading a super right now. Don’t worry about it cuh.
I’ll add a few of my personal favorites, mainly from memories of watching them with my Dad as a kid.

The Guns of Navaronne
The Longest Day
Run Silent, Run Deep

re: Fighting Games in recent years

Not to thread hijack too much, but can anyone tell me the closest thing to Fight Night Champion for PS5/Steam these days? I get a craving every few months to play Fight Night again but haven’t really found anything close. Was never big into the “arcade” style fight games but someone tell me if I’m seriously missing out on some of the newer games today.
Putting in my vote for Japan and the J-League. Seems like Japan always has a decent showing in international tournaments. Nagoya Grampus and Wenger TYFYS.
Wilshere Considered by Rapids

Wouldn’t mind this at all. Assuming Wilshere would agree, it makes me wonder if some assurances have been given about the short term future at Colorado and the long term future at Arsenal. The club seems very committed to promoting from “within” right now.
Alright, if you had to do a remake give me:

Brody - Oscar Isaac
Hooper - Jack Black
Quint - JK Simmons

ETA: I might substitute Jason Segal for Jack Black.

Is this game worth playing PC right now? Seen some not great things so far(like every PC release these days) but I’ve got the itch to play.

Does anyone still use a Pit Barrel charcoal smoker these days? I know it’s not the best or most roomy, and I am by no means a great smoker, but man I find it real hard to screw up anything I do on that thing.

Would it be off base to assume that a less physical, slower paced league like Serie A could be a major benefit to his long term fitness over a season this year? Aren’t the referees generally much more protective of attackers and calling fouls? I don’t watch a ton of Serie A but plan to this season.
Alright, I need someone to settle this for me once and for all. I've tried watching Deadwood 2-3 times in the past but have never stuck with it past Season 1. I know it is a good show, I know the cast is fantastic, and I know that I love the time period it's set in.

BUT, the Calamity Jane character and her storyline just completely derail me after 4-5 episodes every, single, time.

Does she get killed? Does she disappear? Does the god awful accent, ridiculous language, or overall appearance of her change in any way throughout the course of the series?

TIA.
Huge TW fan here. At least, old school TW games like Rome, Empire, Shogun, etc. I haven't been able to get on board as much with the newer releases.

I remember being really stoked for Three Kingdoms, but never really could get into that one. Hopefully this one is getting back to their bread and butter.
Man, this looks like a fantastic trip. Thanks for taking the time to post all the photos and descriptions!

re: Dave season 3

I was right there with your assessment through the first half of the episode, 100%. By the end of the episode though, my impression was that they actually did a good job highlighting how fricked up Dave and his entire entourage really are, and that weirdo people they deem beneath them(likely because of religion) are the most relatable, caring people. Meg tongue-lashing Dave at the dinner table about her parents and beliefs was kinda the turning point for me.

I go back to what I said earlier in this thread, this season seems to be really playing up the Dave is actually an a-hole theme. Seasons 1 and 2 had a lot of pity for Dave and this one seems to portray the opposite, more often than not.

I'm really diggin' it so far.

ETA: There was a point in the episode with Meg talking about Dave's music and how he takes the supposed narrative and flips it on it's head, something along those lines. That's kinda what this episode felt like to me as someone who's much closer to rural, Christian, Mississippian than entourage member of a touring rapper.

Holy shite this was the best episode of the series. Perfect blend of everything.

That entire final scene was just *chef’s kiss*

Hulk Hogan eat your heart out!

The answer is definitely Rad.
Curious if you're playing on console or PC? I almost bought this over the weekend through Steam and, ironically, forgot about it after going out and mowing my own yard. But this just seems like the kinda mindless game that I could sink hours into as well. Just need a couple people to sell me on it since the concept just seems so basic.

I freakin love mowing yards though so I probably should just go for it.

You’re not wrong. I kinda think Dave just hasn’t come to the realization he’s kind of an a-hole yet. This was a really good episode IMO. So far this has been way better than Season 2.
For those like me who prefer 3-4 pairs of $35 shades to choose from(lose), I highly suggest Knockarounds.
