Objectively the “A&M is scared of Texas” narrative is just trolling. To my understanding Aggies were always open to play the game, and at this point no one is scared of Texas; not even Kansas.
The one point this guy infers and I think is more valid is that the last week or so has been a bucket of cold water for A&M with a sudden wakeup to the reality that they aren’t the big players they thought they were. They never were, on and off the field, but we all know the good folks at Texas struggle a little with thinking too much of themselves.

"Good Read" and "Mac Engel" do not match.
For those unfamiliar, Mac Engel is the Texas version of Mike Bianchi.

Yeah . . .total homer which is weird because the home town team for him is TCU and he seems to spend more time writing about his love for the University of Texas.
I only read Texas papers for local stuff. I can't think of one sportswriter that hasn't turned into a completely partisan shock jock. Is it this way everywhere else?

I do quite a bit of business in Fort Worth. Most of my clients like to talk football. They all say Engel is a mouthpiece for Texas AD Del Conte.

They had a Heisman QB. Who do you have?
And a winning record in each team's home stadium
