Skenes’ first three pitches, all 99 mph.
Had the chance to see him play several times in Austin last year.

Dude is for real

And you don't deny anything I said because you know it is all true.
Actually I just didn't bother reading the rest. When you have to use nicknames like that, I'm not sure how you're expecting to be taken seriously when you sound like a 5-year-old. But since that's your stance, care to refute anything in this article that you keep ducking?
quote:

Not sure how y'all are going to be able to handle being treated like you are everyone else. Can y'all handle sharing the revenue equally among all your conference mates. That has never happened to you before.
Again, you wonder why we make fun of you for being little brother. This "you're the boogeyman and a bunch of big meanies" sentiment does not do y'all any favors

Not sure what's more embarrassing here: the continued use of nicknames we laugh at you for, or the horrendous grammar showcasing your aggie education

At least you avoided dildo photos this time (seriously, Buster: what would your wife think?) :nana:

And with free google you can look and see a big fat zero for conference championships in football since Mack left.
And yet proved you dead-arse wrong on the other points
quote:

I mean Oklahoma has four since then using Texas players.
Ok...? Are players not allowed to leave states when other schools recruit them? That isn't really a point

Sorry I proved you wrong about Mack Brown, and sorry you're extremely upset in this thread for no reason
Lol while that is very impressive, don't get me wrong, the As are a disaster that's looking to make a move away from Oakland.

And I can't blame them. That has to be the worst ballpark left in the major leagues

y’all made it to Omaha, hosted a regional as the #9 overall seed and beat a top 8 seed on the road
Preseason No. 1, didn't even host a super, finished two games back from first in a conference we were unanimous favorites to win, and went 0-2 in Omaha.

I know going to Omaha is great and all, but when you show up as flat as Texas has 2 of the last 3 trips, heads need to roll (and they did - the pitching coach was fired and hitting coach reassigned, whatever that means). Making it to Omaha is an expectation at Texas, not the standard.

Last year had potential to be one of the best teams in Texas history given the roster. They'll go down in history as maybe the 35th best. And I think that's on the coaches.

And worst - they had no backup plan for this year. Texas probably won't even win half of their games

Mac brown has two division titles at unc, Texas zero since he left
Hmmm.... if only Texas played in a conference that had divisions after Mack left

zero conference championship appearances
You know google is completely free, right?

Texas not ranked in the preseason but they’ll somehow win a Regional and play a best of 3 for Omaha. Never fails

Hope so. We've had one true rebuilding season with David Pierce in 2019 and it was at least top 3 worst baseball season in my lifetime, so hopes are pretty low and after last year's near complete disaster, people are losing faith in him ever getting it done. The guy is so far the worst baseball coach in Texas history (granted, his competition is tough in that category).

Whether Texas turns it around or not later this season, I'll be elated with Texas winning 1 of 3 this weekend. Pretty sure they'll get swept, though.

Morning fellas, it's a great day to start the college baseball season!

Absolute abomination that Arkansas Texas is on Flo Sports
I remember having to find reddit streams during this same tournament in 2021 because of the same BS

FloSports is annoying
Agree to disagree

Through 1987 the College World Series was a pure double-elimination event. That ended with the 1987 College World Series
quote:

The format was changed beginning with the 1988 College World Series, when the tournament was divided into 2 four-team double-elimination brackets, with the survivors of each bracket playing in a single championship game. The single-game championship was designed for network television, with the final game on CBS on a Saturday afternoon.

Chokelahoma and teasip were making just as much as A&M was under the agreement. A&M left because the donghorns were going to move forward with having their own private tv network instead of making a Big 12 network. Yet another example of their arrogance and their self-perceived elitism. The schools that were left in the Big 12 had no choice but to stick with the Big 12.

It is always hilarious watching you try to make some serious point while using these knee-slapper nicknames every time you mention us or Oklahoma

But yea, y'all tooooootally don't have an inferiority complex or anything.

In b4 you post the same photos you always do due to lack of a credible response

Those weren the days of one and done in the finals
I believe that wasn't until 1988, as the previous 38 seasons were a full double-elimination format and a team couldn't be eliminated with only one loss.

Starting in 88, they changed it to the one-and-done format, and ironically enough, Texas and South Carolina were the last teams to play the championship in it during the 2002 CWS. Starting in 2003, we have the format we have now (essentially another two regionals and super regional to decide the CWS)

One in 2007 or around that time. The rest are from 2014 and beyond I think

You... you do realize it was not a Texas fan that started this thread, right?

then one rival makes a post about you being the trash you are and you come mosby-ing up in your gay cowboy boots bragging about everyone’s obsession with Texas
Except this thread isn't even about Texas as the OP was wrong as the subject of the post never attended UT Austin

You guys have one title in football since the 60’s ended.
Two actually

You fired that guy and since then he’s come out of retirement and had more success at a basketball school than any Texas coach since he was fired you and the eyes of Texas should be full of shame
He has? Please, show me the conference titles he's won, the NY6 bowls he's won and all of the finishes in the top 25 they've had. I'll wait...

^^^basically sums up this entire board with respect to Texas this past week
quote:

Why are you blaming Texas instead of Nebraska?
The same reason everybody blames Texas for coming to the SEC and doesn't say anything to Oklahoma
Texas and OU will still play in the first or second weekend of October since it's at the cotton bowl and that's when the state fair is.

I would imagine it will either be Texas/a&m or Texas/Arkansas in the final weekend. More likely the former than the latter

Why do you keep posting a photo of longhorn fans when they see aggie fans throwing horns down while they're playing teams other than Texas?

I can't believe this thread is still going. Aggies are so easy to rile up
