There's only one blue blood in the SEC.

Yes ... they are.

Mutliple National Championships and at least one more they were robbed a chance at taking.

Great fans, pack a stadium.

Multiple Heisman winners.

Member of the SEC.

Yeah, they are most definitely a national power program.

How old is that, Crimson Wraith? Ole Miss just tacked on several that should move them up the list

Auburn is definitely a National Power. So much so that averaging +\- 4 losses and losing bowl games should be unacceptable.

I think there’s a difference between Nationally Relevant and National Power.

Bama, UGA, and Auburn are all nationally relevant but only Bama is a solid national power with UGA right on the cusp of that status if another good year in 2018 and a title run in 2019

Relevant means you’re on the watchlist every year. Power means you’re likely or expected to deliver.

They don't like the new ones. They have Bama up the list too.

I am interested in how you somehow think UGA is a bigger power. You guys did one good year. Last year. ON the other hand, Auburn has had much more national success than UGA in the past 20 years. You cant count what has not happened yet.

You would think being a UGA fan, you cant count your chickens before they hatch. And I am not being a dick, just honest.

Isn't that cute. Mississippi & Mississippi State next to each other at the bottom of a list together like normal lol

Shirley Ol Miss has far surpassed lil'ol MSU after this last bout with the NCAA?

**that list was when there only major or minor infractions, so the rebs will probably skate on a technicality

Yep, a team “on the cusp” is not National Power.

Power is something that fluctuates year to year and isn’t judged over 5 and 10 year stretches (that’s more Relevance IMO) and I think it’s pretty clear that UGA has more momentum and is trending upward at a quicker pace than Auburn right now. That’s not to downplay what Auburn is doing and can do but UGA is coming off an SEC Championsip, a Rose Bowl Victory, a national championship appearance, and the #1 recruiting class. Meanwhile, Auburn has gotten overshadowed a bit by Bama and Georgias success in light of ending the year with 2 straight losses. Still plenty to like and be excited about Auburn in 2018 but the momentum is decidedly favoring UGA right now in that comparison

As much as I’d enjoy saying they are really a middle tier program, AU is a National Power. Not blue blood but certainly among the Top 15 programs in the country.
