Logic would tell you it should be a RB if they weight that much.

The weird thing is he seems extremely easy to tackle until he is 15+ yards downfield, then he becomes impossible to bring down. And Bama fans complained about that too

So basically he gets caught in the backfield too much and unless he has superior blocking he's worthless.

Sort of like LF against Bama this past year right?

Henry is a fantastic back. Perfect for the saban and miles run their offense.

Dont know how he'll translate to the nfl... But Henry was a beast in college.

This is why Alabama has been so good the last 7-8 years. Saban understands the game is won or lost in the trenches. Sure...we have had some awesome skill position players over that stretch, but we have also had excellent line play on both sides of the ball.

If the offensive line can't block those awesome skill players won't be able to do their thing.

Clearly he's only good because Ryan Kelly won the Rimington and will be a first round pick.

May be good for what he accomplished in college but he plays a position that is a dying breed in the NFL unless your name is Peterson or Fournette.

How about we wait til Fournette accomplishes something before we use him in the same sentence as Adrian Peterson.

I bet Peterson could at least get 50 yards on Bama.

Derrick Henry is a great back with a good future in the NFL.
He may not appear to look as fast as he is because he is tall and almost 250lbs running straight up as a runner.
Reminds me of a bigger version of Eric Dickerson, but has had some challenges when you make him run sideline to sideline.
I think he will be the first or second back taken in the draft IMO.

Linebackers and defensive ends in the NFL are that fast.

Another Bama bust coming up.

I want to see if Henry did more reps than any other RB...oh wait...I guess he is weak for a RB his size
