I bet Peterson could at least get 50 yards on Bama.

Peterson bad games in college Sophomore year

Kansas -4 yards
Texas 10 yards
Kansas State 51 yards
Tcu 63 yards
Oregon 84 yards

What's crazy to me, T.J. Yeldon will probably have the best NFL career out of Henry/Lacy all while he didn't ever look near as dominant in college.

The way the RB position has evolved in the NFL, it wouldn't surprise me if Yeldon and Drake have better/longer NFL careers since both are excellent receivers out of the backfield and probably won't take the physical pounding that Lacy and Henry will...

Yeah, he is excellent catching out of the backfield. It's good to see he got his fumbling woes figured out, 0 on 182 attempts. I think his numbers would have been higher at Auburn, as he seemed a better "fit" for that system, but no sour grapes on my end. Glad to see he's doing well. Hopefully Henry can get picked up by the right team, capable of giving him a little room at the LOS where he can consistantly get his momentum up because I do enjoy watching him run when he gets going.

Yeah, that'll be the key...I still think Ingram would've done better if he'd been drafted by a team other than the Saints...getting drafted by a team that's a good fit can have a huge impact on an NFL career...

God y'all are easy

FYI Peterson didn't do much in college either. Wasn't he injured his junior (?) year?

Fournette > Peterson > Lacy > Henry > Richardson > Ingram

damn, that Kansas State defense was probably similar to Bama's from 2015 IMO

I'm surprised at his 40 because he's never looked quite that fast in games. BUT with RBs all the running lane decisions they have to make in-game slow them down.

Good numbers tho.

I said from day 1 at Alabama that Yeldon was perfect for the modern day NFL.

He also gets crapped on by Alabama people for whatever reason, but he had a great college career.

Have you seen him enter the second level? He runs away from everyone.

And he's the only back under Saban that has done that consistently without getting hawked from behind. Much faster than Ingram, Trent, Lacy, and Yeldon in that regard.

Yes and he's very good at that but that's typically not how you get a good 40 time. 40's are often made or broken in the first few steps. Henry may be one of the few able to hit it later and pull off a good 40.

the word is out on Henry he's a 2nd rounder at best. His lack of escapability will make him below average in the league

Those police chases can bring out some of your best times. Adrenaline, mostly.
