Indiana is Vandy 2.0. A lot of underrated upperclassmen that seem to have great chemistry. Maybe even just 1.5. Vandy would lose maybe one to Indiana’s schedule.

It’s going to be a lot closer than the media is willing to say. Has anybody seen a single person picking Alabama?

OSU is still a top 3 team in the country regardless of conference

I would agree. But I would rather play Indiana and I think most fans would agree. OSU has the #1 talent composite in the country.
If you really dive into their schedules and stats, both teams are hard to read. Their 2-3 “big games” are bracketed by 1-2 (or more) terrible teams on both schedules.

I love that Downs came out and said the biggest difference in conference play is that you only have to get up a few times a year in the B10. That speaks volumes, IMO.
That’s a silly take.

The last time Jam was healthy, he ran for 5.5 a carry against an Auburn front 7 that is right up there with some of the best in the country. Our “lack of a run game” has more to do with health of our interior line and RBs. You can’t stick to a run game in games where you’re playing third string OL, TE, and RBs.

Go back and look at what we did against UGA, Mizzou, Vandy, and UT all in a row. It’s there, we were just beat to hell and back by November.

Mendoza and Indiana are much better at running the ball, which relieves some of that pressure and stress. It also means he doesn’t have to carry the offense solely with his arm.

This is a media driven take. Go look at the stats against “better” front 7 units.

We rushed for 100+ 7 times this year, including:

UGA
VANDY
MIZ
AU
TN

Now granted it hasn’t been pretty down the stretch, but a lot of that can be attributed to OL, RB, and even QB health.

Now go look at Indianas rush stats against OSU, Oregon, and Iowa. They aren’t some running juggernaut, they are (again) a team that padded stats against a mostly terrible schedule. Mendoza’s passing stats against those teams and TD/INT ratio are also very underwhelming because they couldn’t run all over them.

Bama’s D will at worst be the third best front they’ve seen, and I’d argue it’s probably second behind OSU.

They sure do have a whole lot of plot holes to tie up in one final episode. I’ve got a feeling this isn’t going to be a well received ending. Last three episodes were kinda pointless outside of Max is awake and Will is gay. They also they dragged the dialogue and episodes as a whole out way too long.

The “you’ll never lose me” scene is so over the top cringe
DL is obviously always a position of need but I think we’re going to be in a decent spot unless we have some unforeseen turnover via early declares or transfer portal.

LB is the biggest concern on that side of the ball.

Holy shite! 83k post. Talking about dedication, impressive. shite I’ll be dead and gone before I reach 5k post lol.

Years ago, the SECR was actually a really great message board to talk football and just bullshite around. It didn't descend into the low brow troll nonsense you see now until the last few years. Was a lot easier to get your post count up when every other post wasn't "umad" or some other warm butter IQ response.

It's not even an allegation anymore, it's just a known fact. The headset communications will eventually be his death knell.
Should be in the NFL right now from an ability standpoint and we get him for one more year. Absolute stud.

By all the advanced metrics, this IU is the highest rated team since 21 and 22 UGA.

Those sites are supposedly adjusting the metrics according to competition but I find it hard to believe any algorithm can compensate for how incredibly awful the B10 was this year outside of three teams.

I think you have this backwards. If Indiana plays their A game, there's nothing Bama can do to win.

This is silly. Bama absolutely has a chance to win this game even if Indiana plays well. We’ve still got dudes.
You sure are confident that Bama has no chance. Sounds like you can make some easy cash. Put your money where your mouth is.
Congrats on the on paper wins I guess? We’ll find out in a little under two weeks. Indiana has been impressive in their two game season but they’ve barely faced any adversity the entire year.

Bama fans would feel confident going into any venue against any team.

Are you saying we shouldn’t be confident? Most battle tested team in the field by a large margin and coming off a 34-7 run against the best defense in the conference.
And 5-2 on the season, what’s your point?
