Set him up with the wave pitch before. After seeing his first swing and the split, they were for sure coming back to that.

Dickinson would be best 3rd baseman, but I don’t know that we have a good option at 2nd. He’s also showed good range and has been really good there. It’s typically much easier to find a 2nd baseman.

I think the only option is to try to find a guy who can hit and play 2nd. 3rd is a harder position to field, but Dickinson has been too good at 2nd to move him to 3rd. So, I don’t think there is much of an option at this point for this roster.

I feel like we still need to protect on either side of Jones so I have him 5th instead of 6th. I have Braswell 7th because I think a bunt in that spot to setup Hernandez for an RBI is more beneficial than setting up Stanfield.

I trust Dickinson to execute more offense from 2nd in lineup. I think Milam is good around 5th in lineup.

Just be ready to hit the fastball they keep sneaking by on the first or 2nd pitch.
We need a more consistent contact hitter 2nd and a more reliable run producer 3rd.

I’d have Dickinson 2nd. Bear to 4th with Jake Brown and Milam behind him. Frey 3rd.

Cowan has pitched 4+ innings in several games and has been a collegiate starting pitcher years prior. He’s a strike thrower and has stuff that is typically effective and consistent. He can start and I’d rather get him in that role and keep Evans on the back of games.
