That’s a curious take.

Stoops started slow for a couple years, then he went 7-1 against SC in 8 straight years during his heyday, then started losing again. Also went 7-1 against Missouri in 8 straight years.

Not all that curious, really.

Actually, you are partially correct. But you don’t get to count 2021 since Stoops was caught cheating and Kentucky had to forfeit their games.

Between 2014-2018, Stoops had a good run against USC but his overall record was still 6-7. I guess after USC’s 10 straight wins (2000-2009), Stoops looked like he was Bear Bryant to Kentucky fans.

Technically MU 6 TN 4. Tenner had 2 wins vacated, but I get your point.

Unless and until they acknledge Mizzou as the 1960 National Champions, I just ignore vacated wins as they are meaningless.

Technically that game wasn’t vacated, it was forfeited so it’s a little different

Barry Switzer - OU
Tom Osborne - Nebraska

They each played one legit game per year.

Yeah...that was a long time ago...back when the country was being introduced to Monica Lewinsky and you could see Titanic in the theater. In the here and now, the Vols stink

I see your point. Tennessee and Georgia didn't even start playing each other every year until 1992. Since then, Georgia leads the series 20-14. They play twice in the next 4 seasons. That's the same number of games we have scheduled against Georgia Tech and Washington over the same period.

What are Drink's signature wins? At least Josh beat Alabama once.
