Neither deserved to be in. Should’ve been three teams from the SEC West and Georgia. No way does the playoffs need to be expanded.

Nah, I think it would be a close game. All today proved is what is true most years, the CFP was created to solve a problem that doesn’t really exist. It’s uncommon there more than 2 teams worthy of winning a natty.

Bump. Interesting stuff. I find the ones saying false are crazy, but the ones saying neither belonged have a good argument

Neither team deserved to be in but I'll go with true to answer your question.

Well, Michigan was #2 so without a CFP, its Bama/Mich in a two team playoff.

you realize:

This year, it would be Bama vs Michigan.
2019 would be LSU vs Ohio State.

There are other years, when you look, that #3 or #4 made the finals. Sometimes they won.

And it’s shown just how flawed humans are at ranking.

Neither had an offense worth a crap. ...

Any team In The top 15 would be undefeated with Cincis schedule

This result shows that the CFP committee can Not pick the 4 top teams.....

Should go expanded playoff let the survivors determine the outcome, the committee is clueless......
