This is hilarious. Your first reply was flat out wrong. Then you double down and deflect. Just take the L and go home.
First, you will want your wife to eat a lot of ice chips while the chemo is being administered. This will help with her mouth and throat as chemo attacks fast repairing cells, and the cold slows that down. I know because I went through it.
As for everything else, exhaustion was primary for me 1-3 days after treatment. Nausea would come late on the day of treatment and usually fade away a day or so later. I couldn’t eat certain foods as it made me want to vomit. That would last a few days as well. Brain fog is a real thing with chemo. Very difficult to concentrate a few days after treatment. Depending on the regimen—every week, every other, etc.—you are likely to see her be fine with symptoms a few days after each cycle.
