A&M is a stepping stone that pays big. How’s that 4 year deal with Earley panning out?
We pay top dollar for former coaches. Who wouldn’t want to become one?
Horns win on walkoff FG because life hates me
It’s 2024, soon it will be possible…..

Where the monkey?
Banks got sick of taking the monkey’s sloppy seconds so it had to go.

Texas is WAY more valuable than Florida State
Exactly. That’s a ridiculous quote if it came from anyone in the SEC

Grabbing Caglinone at #6 is another steal IMO.
Value wise I think that’s the pick of the draft.

Hate to break it to you but it’s going up, not down. The SEC isn’t going to let the B1G take another 2, 4, or even 6 big programs while they do nothing.

Prolly need a new commish first though. Sankey got clowned in the last media deal.

I will admit it. I prefer Texas in the B1G rather than the SEC. If A&M goes to the B1G, the aggies win and we lose.
The funny thing to me is IF we are leaving because we want away from Texas we likely wouldn’t even achieve that because I could easily see Texas joining later on. Any decision we make needs to be about way more than just our friends in Austin. We may not trust the SEC brass as much as we did but the B1G has screwed up some things as well (see the Covid year flip flopping and scheduling).

Notre Dame’s hand isn’t forced yet. When that time comes, the Big Ten makes the most sense. I also think UF would go to the Big Ten first and before A&M.
I suspect the only way we would go is if they were also adding other schools in the south for travel and sport commonality. Florida makes sense, as do the Arizona schools (who are both AAU). That’s still not very geographically conducive but at least you have similar focus on baseball, softball, track, etc. I also don’t know why they didn’t add Stanford.
I don’t know what was going on behind the scenes with the Texas addition. There may be a lot of lost trust between A&M and the SEC brass. I think if we left it would have less to do with Texas specifically and more to do with the relationship with the SEC offices.

That said, I agree the optics would be that we are fleeing Texas and optics are all that matters. We have poor leadership though so we are probably too obtuse to understand that nuance though.
Not just that but it makes no sense for any other sport. It would kill our baseball program. Travel for any other sport would be terrible.
Why Bama? Aren’t they losing their best player?

Russell is a stud. Perfect fit for that offense.

I watched you dip shits come charging through the front door 12 years ago with your Texas size arrogance bragging about how you were going to "take over the SEC" and buy everyone 10 times over. You tried it too and failed miserably. The Jimbo debacle is perhaps the worst in the history of debacles in the SEC. Now that you've been given a good dose of reality you've changed your tune, but it doesn't change the fact that you are all the same. I haven't seen anything approaching that from OU fans and they owned both of you for the duration of your time in the Big 12.

He left y’all for a promotion. Came to us for a demotion. Guess we know what he thinks about corndogs

Who is Cade Pratt and why should I believe anything he says?
We are unified in giving whoever is the coach a chance but that does not mean we agree this was the best option. In fact, if this was the best option then we have serious branding issues that are a far bigger concern.
