But they were part of the plan from the start. Ordell never did the pickup. That’s how she knew to set Melanie up. And Melanie would have had the marked bills, dead or alive, didn’t really matter.
Cops didn’t care about the money. They wanted Ordell for murder and gunrunning, the meet up in Cherry’s office in the eyes of the cops was Ordell eliminating any loose ends, killing Melanie, killing Louis, and attempting to kill Jackie.
