Chips are down: What is your favorite gameday concession?

Pizza? Peanuts? Popcorn?

I am usually a hot dog guy as it is the most efficient way to sustain or regain momentum after a long tailgate and gameday grind.

Those BBQ nachos always look intriguing but boy they are an involved sit down process to finish. And they're usually like what, $17+?

If your stadium has unique options please do share.

Popcorn leaves your hands buttery and peanuts make a huge mess at your feet and on your pants. I genuinely try to eat before i get there. But id pick a hot dog for substance and something not so messy. Anything else decent is going to cost a fortune and not really be all that decent.

Hot dog is #1 at almost any sports venue.

I am not cool or calm enough to pull off nachos since my man ruined it for all of us.

Just because your clumsy arse dropped chips on the ground, does not mean you need to say “chips are down.”

If it's a real chargrilled burger, I'm in. I usually only get those at high school games though. Nachos are my other go-to.

Peanut M&M’s with a big Coke

Problem is, if the game’s before October, the peanut M&M’s will be melted by halftime.

My favorite gameday concession experience is standing in line getting bumped into constantly by drunks (a few of them sorority girls ) for an entire quarter while watching the game on the small tvs they have in the concourse.

CFB concessions are all bad and overpriced.

I’ve been almost everywhere in the SEC and never once had anything worth remembering.

It’s cheaply made middle school cafeteria level food priced like high end restaurant appetizers.

Unless I’m starving and have to eat a piece of pizza before a drive home I avoid it completely.

Correct.

Then around mid-Q3 I'll snag some peanuts for snacking.

I will never forget listening to Cowherd one day in Richmond Va before I had Satellite radio.

He said that it was weird not to have sushi at a baseball game.

He was a weird dude with too many odd takes.

Where is he now? Radio still?
