Take a trip by yourself, keep working out, and don't drink because of sadness. Leave drinking for social and fun activities. Your later life self will thank me.
Sounds like it needed to happen. Suck it up butter cup...and get off Tiger Droppings with this gay shyt!!!!

If they are taking their money out for their own school district they won’t. Plain and simple.
The schools exist because the tax payers of the area paid their taxes. Just because the area is now incorporated doesn't mean they didn't fund those taxes to build the schools. St George has as much right to the real estate as the EBR School Board...which is why EBR is giving the realestate to them in exchange for their relinquished ownership rights to all the other schools in the parish. This is the same thing that happened in Zachary. Its a fair trade.
I don't agree with St George incorporating and trimming a section out of BR. Its bullshite but it happened. However they have every right to taking over ownership of the schools within their incorporated limits.

eople go crazy in these situations
No truer statement has ever been made. I watched two older siblings argue over belongings from their childhood home, and it became heated over a six-month period...so much so that they ultimately stopped speaking to each other and their kids' families stopped engaging each other. The brother said, “Whatever just take whatever you want.”
The old lady (sister) took everything from the house and stored it in her basement. Fifteen years later, after the old lady (sister) passed away, my wife and I were faced with going through that basement. It was heartbreaking to see, knowing the bitterness and permanent damage it caused between the two sides of our family....and for what? None of it was ever used or sold; it just sat there.
The family was effectively torn in half right after my wifes 97-year-old grandmother passed away, all over possessions that were never needed in the first place. In the end, it was all sold at an estate sale. Senseless. But yeah people literally go crazy...

Everyone who has kids should have a Will to make your spouse and/or kid's life easier when you die. No excuse. Not having a will is just lazy.
I understand, you don't care because you are dead. But lets make their lives a little bit easier.

Idiocracy at its finest. Pretty sure i saw Luke Wilson in the background.
Also if the draw is saving people and early retirement then I'd become a Fireman way before i became a police officer. that Job sucks, no doubt

I'd hire a surveyor and reach back out to your title attorney that helped close on the property. The title attorney owes you some free time if this wasn't captured during closing. Have your surveyor set iron at property corners and servitude/easement limits. Takes lots of pictures. Get a signed and sealed survey. Then go find an attorney to negotiate with hotel.
I wouldn't take anything less than the right of access and an annual rental rate for use of your property. Or Access + Settlement.

I'd rather learn that lesson in Ukraine and or Iran than on US soil. I'll allow the learning curve.

I had a long talk with this 20 something kid a couple years back who spoke about the history of drug culture and raves in late 90s and early 2000s like it was this amazing stepping stone in the History of the USA. I kept telling him things about his thoughts that were wrong but he insisted he studied it in depth and had 'all the historical facts'. Finally i told him bro I was at the State Palace numerous times and while it was fun it wasn't about changing the world and what he thought it was about.
Finally just told him it was a good conversation and left. What you don't know you don't know I suppose. We just didn't care and the girls were hot...that was it. Simple as that. Fun tho

K&G if i need a one time color to match the wifes dress. Brooks Brothers if I want a nice general use tie
Eating dinner alone is something I miss more than I expected. These days I try to sneak out for a solo lunch once a week just to get a little of that back.
In college I used to study at Kyoto on College Dr. I’d sit in the corner with a big Sapporo, my schoolwork spread out, and they’d bring me a couple pieces of sushi every 15-20 minutes. It was nice.
it’s just a lot harder to pull off now with a wife and three kids.

This thread triggered a childhood memory i had forgotten about. We used to put magic shell in ice trays, then spoon in nutty peanut butter, and then cover it with more magic shell and stick it in the freezer a few minutes.
Those were the best "reeses" ever because we had an endless supply. Completely forgot about that. Good memories.

re: Data centers are already obsolete

The facilities will house whatever the next technology is. If the chips become that much more efficient then the computing power will be that much more efficient. Its all about establishing the backbone of the worlds data think tank. That processing power will be in the USA. Should quantum computing begin to attain 100,000 quibit processing power then even better for these data center facilities.
The Data centers aren't stopping. There will be main hubs, regional hubs, and local hubs. Just like Upstream, Midstream, downstream gas. Just like electrical power plants, substations, and boosters for distribution.
Data centers are happening and won't stop. Either buy stocks in it or bitch about it. No one cares what you do.

re: Are these AI courses legit?
Posted by mthorn2 on 3/17/26 at 11:15 am to prplhze2000
I took the LSU course 2 years ago and it was highly beneficial as someone who knew very little about AI and prompting; however, I'm pretty sure I would have figured it all out over the last 2 years anyway. It was a crash course and I learned a lot about how AI works, its limitations, prompting strategy, how to do business plans, strategy think tank usage, and etc. Worth it since my company paid for it and has really paid for itself workflow wise. I use AI multiple times a day.
