I've been looking at having a black flag with white script (i.e. ISIS) flag that reads "Go frick Yourself" in Arabic script just to rile people up.

When it comes to just buying them stuff they were pretty bad about it with my oldest (their very first grandkid) but have kind of evened out with my youngest seeing as they have a total of 5 now between my brother and me. As far as spoiling them with time an attention, absolutely. They will drop whatever they are doing to spend time with those kids. I love to see it.
The only thing that pisses me off is that damn pantry and fridge are packed full of crap that we never, ever got growing up.

Recently my daughter has been making me play Jingle Bells on repeat, so that one's out for me right now
We've been listening to the Kpop Demon Hunter soundtrack/spotify playlist for like 2 months straight in the car with no signs of stopping. You ever heard Kpop in German or Portuguese? Id kill for Jingle Bells on a loop about now
Chatted with and went out a couple of times with a lady that did solo content on the side. She wasnt super hot or anything, just kind of above average looking but made enough to fund vacations and hobbies and such. She was nice enough and we had a good time the few times we went out. At the same time i wasnt interested in pursuing anything further than what we were doing though.

Used to work for a German based company and according to the guys over there its damn near impossible to get fired. Like, you have to actively try to get them to remove you and even then its an up hill battle.

Honestly, West Tennessee/North Mississippi sucks. There are only (3) things you can absolutely predict.
1) disgustingly hot and humid at some point in the summer
2) bitingly freezing cold at some point in the winter
3) its going to rain a lot more than you would expect at multiple points through out the year
The only problem is you just never know when any of these things are going to hit. I think thats the worst part about it, the mystery. Like, it was 20deg the other day but its supposed to be like 70 on Christmas day. Looking forward to a nice spring? Sucks to be you, its going to rain for a month straight this year...maybe. Oh, you made it through July with it being relatively mild? Just wait for August and September. Oh, its Halloween? Its either going to be 90deg or 25deg, no in between. Its like someone just throws a dart at a weather dart board with their eyes closed every week. Oh, yeah, and tornados

We turned them down along with Tulane (USF as well but i dont think USF really even considered it). At the time they couldn't provide legit media deal numbers and were essentially telling us "trust me bro, its going to be great". Made more sense for us to stay put with guaranteed ESPN money for the next few years with a more reasonable travel footprint

jfc for like the millionth time they took auto qualifier spots that ND does not have access to because they refuse to join a conference. Thats a ND issue that people brought up at the start of the 12 team playoff but arrogance prevailed. Also if Miami would have won their shite conference none of this would be an issue. The (5) auto qualifiers are correct per the rules. Who do you want in there? Duke lol? Kennesaw State? Western Michigan? Because those are the other conference winners.

Mack withdrew likely because we told him we weren't hiring him.
Wondering if maybe this guy just doesn’t interview well. Seems both Memphis and Tulane backed off of him pretty quick
No, simply because i think mediums are grifters that prey on emotionally weak people and i wouldnt want to spend my free time watching that.

You say this and then list all of the reasons that UNLV has been an up and coming but never get there job for the last 20 years.
Memphis is a far better job today in terms of building a consistent winner and competing for the playoffs.
Honestly? I have absolutely zero faith in the Memphis administration. Call it battered fan syndrome or just the life of a G5 school/fan. What we currently have can easily slip through our fingers and we've seen it happen in the past. All of the top tier American schools just lost their coaches and could easily regress to their means. FedEx is committed publicly for a few years and supposedly quietly for a few more after that. With Fred Smith passing its only a matter of time before that well dries up. After that, there arent a bastion of high roller alums to foot the bills and our fan base is probably one of the most wishy washy in the country. Dont win? Wont support it. Unfortunately we dont have the luxury of being able to have a bad 5-10 year stretch like p4 schools.
Long story short, everything we have is held together with duct tape and hope and could come crashing down at any second just like UNLV. Love my school, love my team but its a life of just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

but is Memphis really a better job than where he is now?
Meh, kind of a coin flip right now. UNLV is going to be left behind in the Mountain West though with like half the conference going to the new PAC. Plus UNLV is supposedly broke and there are rumors they cant pay their coaches. Memphis currently has a lot of momentum with a ton of money being pumped in with hopes of getting out of the G5 one day. Hasnt resulted in on the field/court success though.
