think their roster was pretty depleted after the way the Auburn admin acted with their previous coaches.

Our roster was depleted because of the last two coaches and their work ethic. Yes it may have stemmed from the admin, but the blame rests with Harsin and Gus in his last year.

I love this Auburn lie as well. You can go back to 1951 and see that every Auburn coach besides Harsin got at least 4 years. Chizik got 4 and was fired when he completely lost a grip on reality. Tater Tot got 5 and resigned. Every other coach got at least 8 years.

Now tell us all about how much money Auburn is still paying former head coaches. Since Auburn is so reasonable, the number should be quite low right?

That backwards double pass was a Freeze specialty from Ole Miss, he just couldn't help himself, he had to give it a shot.

On a more serious note, a lot of the play calls reminiscent of Gus this season, bordering on the stubbornness level of Gus too.

Harsin inhibited AU coaches from attending certain recruiting events. He personally skipped out on a big recruiting opportunity in Georgia that every Auburn coach (and I believe SEC coach) has attended for decades straight. He was open about refusing to recruit certain athletes because he didn’t want southern black kids on the team that he felt were intellectually and behaviorally inferior than his idea of a respectable player on his football program.

He may have had an affair with a girl he personally hired from Boise.

His wife looked like she was plucked straight out of a Los Angeles porn warehouse.

He and his family talked shite about Auburn on their way out and he’s made comments throughout the year.

Former players went live on Instagram to talk about how shitty they were treated under Harsin.

Not sure how it’s “deranged,” but Harsin did about all he could to damage Auburn’s name as a competitive SEC program.

They just don’t have a QB, Freeze is a good coach, just needs to recruit a QB.

Maybe God will bestow one upon him.

I don’t think they did. But, he looks off, tired & confused already, which is the last thing to project when rebuilding. He needs to quit worrying about not losing, call/run his offense and energize things.

Nope. Completely due to the admin and your out of control boosters.

Welp... bringing up Brandon Miller in a thread about barn football is the definition of BAMA-hating cultish behavior.

Bama only wants to talk about irrelevant so called cult behavior unless its about Oats. Got it.

Chips are not down my friend!!! The man has only been in the job 10 months.

A look at our last 4 Classes. This is the issue:

2019 Class (5th yr Seniors):
•3 starters on D,
•3 back ups on offense.
•0 OL

2020 Class (4th year):
•0 Starters.
•2 2nd string LB.
•2 2nd String on offense.
•1 OL: Career back up

2021 class (3rd year): ??
•1 RB
•0 OL

2022 Class: (2nd year):
•1 starting WR.
•1 Starting Star (hurt).
•0 OL.

Smattering of 2nd teamers.

6 of 22 starters are HS recruits? Stutts is 7 and a 6th year covid guy. Maybe 15 of 44 in the two deep??

We have 1 starter and 1 back up OL in our two deep from our previous 5 recruiting class.

Per the announcers, Freeze told them he would be calling the plays when Ashford is behind center as he designed the package for him.

You can't accurately judge a head coaching hire in a rebuilding situation until year 3 & 4.

AU drew Vandy and 4 really bad non conference games. With NM State and UMass being 2 of the worst FBS programs, Cal one of the worst teams in the P5 and FCS Samford.

I said before the season they should be able to be 7-5 and anything less would be a disappointment due to no matter the roster they should have 5 auto wins. Now with the way MS State and Arkansas being well below their standard I am not sure I would consider 7-5
successful. Knew State would struggle with losing its coach but Arky looks even worse at times.

I don't care how much money they're paying. Harsins wasn't much and Gus either went off the books in January, or is about to go off this January.

The coaches in CFB make big money and the agents have gotten them lucrative buyouts. This isn't solely an Auburn trend. Look what LSU had to pay Ed Orgeron.

The whole point of your post was to say that Auburn runs through coaches at a high rate. When in truth, it's no different than any other school.

Harsin was ultimately fired midseason because he purposely tried to burn redshirts just to leave the roster even more damaged.

That's the type of person that went straight to Pat Forde to do his complaining.

So you didn't get an email begging for $1000 because they have more pledged out then currently banked?

Is that as factual as auburn has 10 times the NIL as OM that we heard last year?

I would have been happy if Freeze would have been named at LSU. I’m also happy with Brian Kelly. Freeze is a great coach and hire. Auburn will be back in the mix in a year or two.

SEC is more fun when Auburn is good.

The big narrative last year was Auburn's war chest is bigger but does sports media and fans actually know that?

Every year since 2015 I heard "Auburn has plenty money" to make contracts go away and maybe we do, but do we really I doubt it. I even heard we had plenty of money to fire Harsin in 2021 but we didn't so I am guessing we didn't have the money because we had to get him out.
