I believe it was Temple circa 1991 - Danny Woodson took one to house from about 90 yards and Bama won big. It was in Legion Field and I was about 10 years old. Do not remember my first game in BDS but it was sometime that same season.

Did not deserve the #1 overall seed and was lucky to have two home games in the regional or would have been ousted earlier.

Agreed our biggest weakness was lack of length on perimeter this year and not sure Wrightsell would have made much difference though he was our best defensive guard

Agreed the top 4-5 teams are really good but the league as a whole is overrated and none of the other blue bloods are string this year outside of Duke and the traditional top mid majors like Gonzaga are weaker

How did Florida get significantly better than last year?, Bama was the better team last year and I think Bama has a better team overall than last but yet well behind Florida. They are clearly better. What gives? Who improved so much?

Hate to hear that. I have not seen the show in years but watched it most Fridays circa 2013-2019. Always loved the banter with him and Copeland. There was something to said about the genuine love and look at Alabama sports that you do not find the national media. I enjoyed the production of WVUA and the Tuscaloosa ads because it brought me back to my UA days. RIP Mike

Congrats but this is AUs best team of all time and Oats still beat Pearl. Oats owns Pearl even with lesser experienced players. And Bama has beat that arse on the gridiron 5 in a row so really this conversation is irrelevant
