I love how people keep saying bama is the better football team right now. But you know what? Bama got beat in their own house by double digits. You can't put bama ahead of Texas if both teams win out.

But point is moot because sark is gonna keep fricking around in the second half and turtling and somebody is gonna eventually gonna come back and beat Texas. I am gonna scream if this happens. Because sark plays not to lose in the second half. Why he takes the foot off the gas is beyond me. We are up 3 touchdowns plus at half time. Step on somebody's throat and beat somebody like you're supposed to.

You’d then be punishing Oregon for winning their conference and beating the undefeated conference champ

Ok, so all else being equal

Beating Georgia at 1 or 2 is >>> than beating Washington at 4 or 5. Bama's resume would be better.

How about FSU, Washington, and Michigan ALL go undefeated. Bunch up Texas, Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State for final playoff spot. That would be EPIC! 12 team playoff is a year late.

The flip side is Oregon would also have effectively erased their only loss.

They would be one of the teams who beat every team they played, even though they have a loss and the undefeated teams do not. I believe that would put them ahead of Bama.

I don't think any of this matters. We likely won't have more than 4 teams that win their conference and have 0 or 1 losses from the 5 P-5 conferences. I'm sure Bama will get in if they win out.

In the universe where the 1-loss SEC champ is competing for the 4th spot with the 1-loss Big 12 champ -- who went to Tuscaloosa and won by 10 -- Alabama gets left out.

A review of my posts will show that I have been no Milroe fan, but he's improved a lot, and so then has this team. If the objective is to put the best 4 teams on the field, and Alabama beats UGA, then Alabama would deserve a spot. All that said, I doubt UA beats UGA because, though Milroe has improved a lot, I think UGA will force him to beat them in the air, and I'm not sure he's improved his passing game that much. He still has trouble reading defense and checking down to receivers.

edit: the offensive line has also improved a lot since the Texas game

Bitch, you’re not even boat racing b12 teams. Tx is the least worthy on the list.

Nor deserving.

Probably so.

If OP is trying to troll by saying no SEC team gets in then he should just say Bama, FSU, OSU, UW, Texas wins out.

1) OSU
2) UW
3) FSU
4) Texas

5) Bama
6) UGA

Georgia could lose the SECCG and still deserve a spot in the playoffs over Oregon (and truth be told, an undefeated Ohio State).

Washington has the most wins against top 25 teams. If they win out, they’re in. Oregon is the best one-loss team.

UGA, WAS/OR, OSU/MU, and FSU. B12 doesn’t deserve a spot with such pathetic competition.

If Ore gets past Ore St then that's a bonus win for Ore and they arent getting jumped. Ore St though can have a lot of say, and Bama should be big beaver fans... OSU on hosts UW this wk and goes to Eugene the following

I’m going to bring an unbiased opinion here…just clearing out the rest of the dynamics and analyzing a 12-1 Texas vs a 12-1 Bama for the last spot. Bama would get the nod and quite frankly I wouldn’t be upset about it. The argument to me of the head to head sticking supposes that Texas passes an eye test and wins out fairly convincingly. We’ve had our changes. Why we’ve left 3-4 opponents back into games and then the game tightens up and all of a sudden we’re in a dogfight to keep the W is beyond me. There have been VAST improvements, and I mostly happy with Sark, but there is still some weird psyche, DNA thing going on where we can’t blow opponents out when we are on the verge of doing so. If this was the case a committee member could ask who would win today? I don’t know for sure - but we played that game and Texas won. At this point I believe most committee members would come to the conclusion that Bama would win, and that would then be the logic. Again, Texas has themselves to blame for this. We may yet still get in but it’s going to take an FSU loss or PAC stuff. Brooks injury doesn’t help either in winning out or how committee views team, since they seem to take that into consideration. Sorry for long post, but it was necessary.
