I'm a pilot and I can easily see how this crash happened. It was early evening and not being instrument rated flying over water he lost the horizon (i.e. he didn't know which way was up or down).

The answer is in DOGE execution. Do you believe Elon can knock out $1T in government spending? If so, rates will be down significantly next year so get a 3 or 5 year ARM. If we cut spending less than say $500B then we are still facing extreme rate pressure from our federal debt.

Yes Rubio has the authority. He's supposed to do it only if the person speaks out and/or demonstrates against US interests but it Rubio's call on that.

Crypto is up strong since the close of the markets on Friday. That usually is an indication of a strong stock market open on Monday. It needs to continue into the futures open 5pm CST on Sunday evening but it's looking really good so far.

The President can't do much about it but Powell can. The Fed could start buying the 10 year. It's called quantitative easing or QE. The Fed will jump in before it causes a recession. Or should anyway.

I really like his general market commentary. When we have a really bad market day you can get a feel for the market psyche for the next few days. It's usually pretty good.

There's a part of me that thinks we should leave these bastards in place. Take away all federal funding until they end the sanctuary status. Also, issue warnings to all travelers to these areas and issue warnings on local TV about these criminals operating in their area. Tell the locals what laws each of these illegals have broken. No one should be in favor of this so let the locals rise up and vote their leaders out.
