Who'd you bet on when we played in September?

I had it as a tossup, especially with an unproven QB for Bama. Wasn't surprised Texas got the W.

Today though, Milroe has played himself into the Heisman conversation, while Ewers has flatlined and Texas has struggled to beat mediocre teams.

Milroe hasn't faced a decent defense since Texas.

The mission is to select the best 4. Deserving is not in the mission statement. Bama is a much different team than when the played Tex.

How can you possibly know that? SEC West is dogshit. They lost to the only decent team they've played.

True, Bama has not faced defensive juggernauts like all the B12 teams

Wait so you’re comparing OM defense to GA?

No just pointing out your low IQ football knowledge. Or maybe it’s just your emotions that won’t allow you to analyze Alabama like an adult. “Jalen Milroe plays like poo poo derp derp”.
Dude put 350 combined in the air and ground with 4 tds against your pathetic team. I would think you’d show a little respect after the 42-28 beat down. Saban basically shut down the offense in the 4th quarter too

This, people are seriously discounting how atrocious the SEC performed in early OOC games. I guess it will work itself out, but to me, the stronger conference this year is Pac 12 over SEC based on play. Certainly the Pac 12 is deeper with good if not great teams, while the SEC this year has 2-3 very good teams at the top, and then a couple OK teams, and the rest fall off a cliff. It just hasn't been a strong league this year. I am just seeing a lot of entitlement in this thread, but the SEC better hope that USC somehow beats Clemson and Kentucky beats Louisville because that will be two more OOC losses at the end of the season, and Florida will have to put up a decent showing against FSU. If UGA loses to GT, well then there goes Bama's big possible win.

If Michigan plays like they did vs Penn State and tries to run the ball vs Alabama or UGA like that, they get the crap kicked out of them.

SEC west is dogshit? What does that make the Big 12 then? There's almost as many SEC west teams ranked in the top 25 (3) compared to the Big 12 (4)

I don’t think any team is all that invincible this year. And there will always be bias in the rankings because the voters still care about the stars of the players rather than how they are playing.

After watching TCU and texas I don’t think texas will get in under any circumstance. They just don’t look good.

I agree that bama is better than texas but there’s no possible way you can keep texas out due to bama if they have the same record

In this scenario I would put in Oregon, Bama, Georgia, Ohio St.

ACC is incredibly weak this year.

1 Ohio St.
2 Oregon
3 Bama
4 Georgia

Georgia v Oregon for the title

Who do I think the actual best 4 teams are? UGA Oregon Alabama Ohio State in that order

Much could change but my playoff guess as of now is

UGA Ohio State Oregon Fl State in that order.

Without massive chaos the loser of UGA Bama isn’t getting in

This scenario Texas is out and Bama in.

Bama would have superior SOS.

Bama has best win.

Bama would be favored if game played again and playing better football now.

Texas OT with Kansas St and barely beat TCU (losing record) just a week ago.

Texas likely will be playing OSU in conference championship who lost to UCF ans South Alabama doesn’t help them.

Simply put Bama is the better team right now.

I agree which is why if you look above I think Bama is only behind us and Oregon in terms of best team. But Bama really has a minimal chance at the SEC ship because of their QB and they will not get in with a loss. UGA probably won’t get in with a loss either
