In your scenario, Bama would have a better win than anyone in college football. Bama gets in

Over who? Texas? CFB would explode. Basically telling Texas even though you beat that team on the road already, they’re better than you

They already have Oregon 2 spots ahead of Alabama. So you say congrats Oregon for beating the undefeated #3 team we will drop you 3 spots behind Alabama and now they get in.

Normally I’d agree but since they have Oregon ranked ahead by 2 spots they’d have to drop Oregon behind Alabama before conference championship games. How do you punish Oregon for doing the same thing Alabama does? (Beat undefeated team in champ game)

Tell me you don't want Bama winning anything in your tiny little crawdad brain without telling me

I knew there’d be at least one Bama fan with this comment.

Has nothing to do with Alabama. They’d be more deserving if they were ahead of Oregon as of current rankings.

Oregon and Washington both still have to play Oregon State though, and they seem pretty solid.

After the way both Michigan and OSU have looked in the playoffs in recent years I hope the committee has learned a serious lesson and passes over both schools.

Oh good, the matchup with the only team in the top 4 or 5 we can beat.

Oregon would get left out in my opinion. Doesn’t matter where they have Oregon right now. Bama’s overall resume,SOS, and the win over Georgia is better than what Oregon would have done. Plus the PAC 12 is going away. Politics are in Bama’s favor too

I'll worry about it if we actually get to that point.

Maybe, but I’d call it a tossup, mostly because if the incredible PAC love fest going on in their last year

You’d then be punishing Oregon for winning their conference and beating the undefeated conference champ

How is this different than Alabama beating Georgia?

Same could be said about Georgia. Couple good deserving teams are going to get left out this season. Especially with the way things are unfolding. Maybe it’ll play itself out.

Bama is getting throttled by Georgia so none of this matters!

Basically would come down to does Alabama deserve a spot above Oregon or Texas?

So you put a 12-1 Texas in over a 12–1 UGA and 12-1 Bama team(SEC Champ)I don’t think that’s going to happen.

You also said this. Not sure we should necessarily take your opinion on things as the gospel truth

Yes and it will be glorious. Alabama doesn’t control their own destiny.
