7-1 going into November would have this fanbase on cloud 9. Im only a younger millennial but I highly doubt LSU has ever hosted two B2B top 5 ranked matchups before. I’m rooting for Bama and Texas to keep winning. I want TS to be the best environment in all sports those nights and nowadays that requires a massive showdown.

It’s all because of Florida. Pollsters now feel the obligation to rank Florida ahead of Ole Miss since they beat the everliving piss out of them and have a better record. That means Florida is going to jump all the way up to #9-12. They aren’t going to put them ahead of an LSU team that was ranked in the top 10 and also won by 30 last night against a ranked team. Some pollsters go off the rails and do their own things but the aggregate ranking will have LSU in the top 10, Florida 1-3 spots behind LSU and Ole Miss right behind them. Bookmark it

Iowa is making the playoff. 5-1 going into their bye then 2nd half schedule of Minnesota Wisconsin Northwestern Purdue Illinois Nebraska…. Will a single one of those teams even get a single vote in polls the remainder of the season? I remember we were about 5 or 6 games through last season where we were already able to pencil Indiana into the playoffs. That doesn’t happen in the SEC.
