Maybe he wants the expectation to be an SEC title first with annual NC contender status and felt OM was content with 10+ wins a year.
He was told by someone at OM to stay… theyd be content with 7 win seasons, just happy in the offseason he was still the coach. That didn’t sit well with him :lol:

no wonder LSU is so highly regarded. We’ve been really down the past decade. Fired 3 coaches in that span, had just 1 good season by our standards and still in the top 10

If I’m putting my money on a spread it’s not because I think it’s 50/50, it’s because I’m confident the spread is wrong and not hoping to hinge on a late score. Wouldn’t consider that easy money
