you guys think you're going to win by 50+ points
First of all, Mr. Osborne, I wouldn't expect yankees to understand our brand of football down here in the South. Secondly, I don't know of any LSU fan that actually believes the Tigers will win by 50+ points. Personally, I'm expecting a 2013 LSU/UGA type game, only hoping LSU comes out with the W this time.

Thanks. Can't say the same for you, though.

No why would LSU respect an average pass game with their two best receivers out. And it was average before they were out.

No. UGA cannot.
LSU 31
Georgia 17
LSU 31
Georgia 17

Fromm threw for 300+ and 3 td’s against a better bama defense last year in the SECC
Last year Burrow wasn’t a world beater.
This is this year, and Fromm has criminally underperformed from his preseason expectations.

Since were living in the past year I can play this game...So how did he do vs LSU last year? We have many similar faces from that D....but I gotcha, he steps up his game in “championship” games. Shaking in our boots over here lol.

AND keep Fromm from burning them?
Lol. Who is he throwing to at this point? Pretty sure Stingley could cover all of them at once.

I need to go check their board and see if they've organized this attack like A&M does?

UGA better control/limit the LSU possessions and create some turnovers. LSU doesn't need a lot of time to score. Have you watched any games?

I don’t know of any sane LSU fan that thinks the Tigers win by 50. I do think LSU wins in a close one.
I guess I'm assuming that everyone else on here is sane

Dude, I was born and raised in Georgia and have lived in several states in the South my entire life. Coached high school ball in the South for 20 years. I'm pretty familiar with how "yall" do football down here.

Have you read this board or your own board? There are multiple threads a day about how LSU is going to win and whether it will be by 50 or more.
I'm expecting a 10 point win for either team. I think it will be pretty dang close for most of the game.

For UGA to have a chance they are going to need a great 3rd down success rate (like they did vs FL)

Have to have defensive TD to have a chance. Need to get McIntosh involved if Swift is truly banged up.

Arkansas held the ball for 40:29 while LSU had it for only 19:31. LSU scored 56 points on them.
LSU has more points than times snapped in that game. Our stats have been bizarre.

That would be the game plan I'm sure. It's the standard when playing an offense like LSU. My concern is UGA has the Oline and back to do just that play keep away. I know Ole Miss says differently buy LSUs' run defense has been pretty good.

LSU will have the third best run defense on Georgia's schedule this year. We come in at 28th nationally. Will swift even play? If he does, he won't be 100%. LSU will stop the run.
Swift has played hurt since game 3. 1203 yards so far. 6.23 ypc. The question is not will your defense stop us, but will our defense stop you? If we can pressure Burrow (and get a few sacks) without stacking the LOS, then our DBs will have a chance.

Look, it' Eli Stinkyfinger...
I am sure that Georgia will attempt ball control to. keep the ball away from our offense and shorten the game.
There's one flaw in your logic otherwise. LSU's run defense is pretty solid when playing a more conventional offense like UGa. Fromm is not the same threat as a Rhys Plumlee, etc. Also, unless they ball out UGa's WR can be covered by our corners.
I know it pains you to see LSU in the title game and, you may get your wish for a Georgia victory, but there's a reason LSU is favored.

No we are going 5 WRs and throwing 50 times

You marching out the ball boys to play? How much time on the juggs do they have?

I anticipate a close game but would be tickled if LSU flat out embarrassed uga.
Don't know what uga is going to do but it won't be enough

Can UGA control the clock with the run game...
...and put Fromm in good play action pass situations?
I’m sure that’s what they will try to do.. that’s their scheme.
I’m not too worried about getting burned by Fromm on play action. LSU has two great cover corners, a few guys who are getting better at nickel corner, and two safeties who are both stronger in run fit than coverage. UGA’s offensive scheme plays right into our strengths, allowing us to man up on the edges and let the rest of the D focus on run first.
I think the game will be decided in the first half. UGA runs a ball control offense and LSU runs a fair amount of tempo. If LSU gets up 10-15 points before halftime I don’t see UGA being able to catch up. But if UGA keeps it close/ugly in the first half, I think they’ll have more success running the ball as the game wears on.
The longer the game stays close, the more I see the advantage tipping towards UGA. If it’s 7-7 at the end of the first I’ll be pretty confident, but if it’s 20-20 at the end of the 3rd I’ll be nervous.
I’m curious to see whether LSU tries to manage TOP at all to counter UGA’s ball control, or if we just go out there and try to score as quickly as possible.
